This is the stop when we're on s trip. I will drive an extra 50 miles passing gas station after gas station to find a Love's. We get an extra 10 cents off gas with the app. That's part of the appeal. The hot dogs and lemonade is another. The biggest appeal though is i know the bathrooms are going to be big and have plenty of stalls. So if there's a wait, it will be minimal. read more

Whenever we're on our most recent trip headed east or returning back West and in the area, we always stop by this establishment for gas and the restroom. On our most recent road trip we filled up for $2.68 per gallon when the price of gas was $3.29/gallon in our section of Buffalo. The restrooms are also clean and big. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend stopping here for fuel and taking a break while on your long journey. read more

How can I get excited about a rest stop? Well, the NYS Thruway has been redoing all of their rest areas. When I say redoing, I mean totally tearing down the existing structures and rebuilding new ones. Sadly, not eith good results. They should have taken some direction from Love's. This store is large. It has a variety of reasonable priced items. It has a couple of fast food options along with many prepackaged options. Best, the bathroom was large enough, very clean, and actually pretty. Cashier, didn't honor sale sign. Rude. He should be retrained on customer service have to say long day or not, not acceptable.

The last and most serious of several problems at this location. I will not patronize in the future. After 2 prior stops on the NYS Thruway for enough gas to reach a cheaper source, I stopped at Loves, the closest. After the usual credit card approval, etc, I placed the pump in my tank and began to pump gas. After a few seconds, the pump shut down. I tried again. Shut down again. I turned to check the hose in my tank. All was as usual with hose firmly in tank. I tried again--maybe 3-4 shutoffs--and again turned to check the hose. I found gas pouring down the outside of my car on to the ground. I received a receipt and went inside for a refund. I was told they could not refund. Store manager and operations managers said the same. "It is probably your tank." They did not send anyone to check the pump (#12) until after these conversations. The gas had nearly evaporated but the stain was obvious on the ground. So, I paid for gas that never reached my tank. Contacted customer service. They created a "card service case" to determine if they will refund per my receipt. I am waiting 3-5 days for someone to contact me re the case. After that, my only recourse is to dispute my credit card. Note: after this incident, I drove literally across the street to the Petro plaza Exxon station and had no problem filling my tank). We have also had issues with credit card rejections at Loves--again no problem across the street. Save yourself time and $ and take business elsewhere (a few blocks down the street gas was .05 cheaper). read more

This place is incredibly unprofessional. It's maddening to think that on Monday, September 29, at 3:00 am, I was told there would be no showers until 7:15 am--an utterly unacceptable and frustrating delay. And to make matters worse, there were three people just standing behind the front cash register, doing nothing but chatting instead of attending to customers. The fuel receipts were stacked up behind the register, and there was a sign on the counter directing customers to go to the front--yet nothing was being done. After spending hundreds of dollars on diesel fuel, I expected better, but instead, I was met with a shocking level of unprofessionalism that left me feeling disrespected and angry. New and clean! We just used this as a quick rest stop for a bus load on the way to the wineries but they seemed to have everything one could want as a grab and go. Staff was friendly. With the closing of thruway rest areas, this is a great alternative for eastbound travelers. read more

Stopped off the road to grab a sub here from Subway. Witnessed 2 abusive customers harass the staff while I was in line and ate my sub. In my opinion, management should step in and enforce healthier boundaries. I felt bad for the girls working behind the counter because they seemed friendly. Otherwise the facility is nice and bathrooms are clean. read more

I am not one to do reviews normally but this loves deserve it we where on are way home and stopped here to let are dog go to the bathroom and get some energy out and well we where there the gate broke between the big dog and small dog park and two big dogs attacked are dog in the dog park after we broke the dogs up plenty of loves staff and some civilians came to help also the staff was great and made sure that all the humans were okay and that are dog was ok they did everything possible they could to help and they stayed out until all party's left the incident so big shout out to all the great staff read more

This Loves has Wendy's and Subway inside. The store was clean. There's a laundry room also. The showers were pretty clean. Overall it wasn't bad. read more

We always try to stop at Love's Travel Stops. Their food is good, bathrooms spotless and gas priced reasonably.

This place is a awesome rest stop. It is so clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. You have to stop in; you will not be disappointed. Off of the I-90 thruway exit 41. So much to choose from. All around beautiful stop. read more
