I had heard about the downtown location and how awesome they are but never had a chance to go there! We were in the area and it was dinner time so we decided to go there for pizza! The place was not very big but it had a very friendly vibe! The staff was helpful and nice and I loved the pizza! I've ordered from Love Pizza in Riverbend a few times since they first opened. Other than their regular special, I recommend the Meatatarian as it comes with a lot of meat/cheese/tomato sauce/tomatoes. In general, their pizzas are quite nice (thin crispy crust, a lot of meat/cheese/etc. and decent price for the quality/quantity you get) and I'd rate them 8.5/10 read more

Solid 5 out of 5! The location is awesome. The restaurant is so clean and bright. For all you Instagramers, the lighting is perfect, your going to get nice foodie pics . I had the Big Dill pizza which at first confused my taste buds but as I kept eating it I couldn't put it down, loved it. My wife had the Italian Sausage, Basil and Honey pizza and also quite enjoyed her lunch. I drove 22 minutes to this location, did take out and it travelled really well home, maintained a lot of its warmth and wasn't soggy when I got home. Also love that they support another Alberta company. Love Grizzly Paw products. I will definitely be back to try out their other pizzas. read more

I love Pizza. Matter of fact I have eaten at their St Albert location ( read that review if you wish ). This location in Riverbend is spacious and very clean . I ordered the pepperoni pizza and a Dr Pepper . What's different about LOVE PIZZA is their pizzas are rectangular and baked on a roller conveyor oven .. Then cut into triangles and placed in a slanted box . Overall the food is good and filling. There are a lot of choices for toppings , even after its baked. Came here to grab pizza for Saturday night in. We really wanted to try the Mac and cheeza pizza since it's only available for this month of January. All I have to say is YUMMM!!! Seriously this pizza was so cheesy and warm. I added jalapeños and fresh tomatoes to it (on the recommendation of another foodie) and it just kicked it up a notch! I love spicy and the jalapeños give it that kick while the tomatoes give it a bit more ooompf. The staff were working like a well oiled machine and all Covid measures were being followed. Lots of accessible parking in the area as well. You can order ahead and pick up or order when you go there for take out. We also got 2 build your own pizzas, one with spicy sauce and spicy sausage with hot honey!! So good! And the other with lime crema which was also delicious. The Rabbit Hill location of Love Pizza has new owners since January 2022. That's a good thing because previously it wasn't as good as the downtown location. We ate here in April 2022 and the pizzas and service were much improved. I think that I'll start to pick up pizzas from here again. read more

We had enjoyed the uniquely shaped pizzas at their downtown location and hence were quite excited to check out their new location in Southwest Edmonton on Rabbit Hill Rd. I ordered two of their Big Love - 2 topper specials. The location was convenient and the pickup process was quite smooth, my pizza was ready at the promised time. We get home, opened the pizza and it looked like the toppings were slightly burnt. It was mainly the pulled chicken part which was quite charred. Although I have to say that when we tasted it, it didn't turn out to be as bad as it looked. Overall it still tasted good and was quite flavorful. We have enjoyed Love Pizza before hence we'll be giving them the benefit of doubt especially since this location just started and they probably haven't got all their processes streamlined yet. ALLERGY sufferers be AWARE!! Do not go here if you have an allergy. We used to drive to the downtown location because we love the pizza & that location is excellent with allergies as well as making consistent pizzas. When we saw this location opening on Rabbit Hill we were thrilled. The first time we went to get love pizza there was a problem with allergies the employees had zero clue about allergy protocols. They basically made every mistake you can when making a pizza for someone with an allergy including a huge accidental glob of normal cheese on the pizza. The manager did make things right so we decided to go back. Sadly this happened again to a worse degree. They didn't change gloves, passed the pizza along to various employees without letting them know the pizza had an allergy, didn't clean the work space before making the allergy pizza and the girl making the pizza truly didn't seem to understand what a dairy allergy was. I literally had to kindly tell her at least 4 times and she still ended up asking if I wanted mozzarella. Which is fine I'm sure it could be out of habit. But she clearly wasn't trained how to make a pizza for someone with an allergy. I also went in to the establishment to order. I was literally the only customer in the store. It took over 30 minutes to get my 2 pizzas that I ordered because most of the employees were making to go orders. The girl that helped me was painfully slow at making the pizza. Perhaps she was new and I am all for giving grace. But when you have an allergy there is no room for error. It is important to note that I emailed the owner twice before writing this review. I always believe it is best to go straight to the source. But I also believe in allergy awareness and advocacy. I sadly write this review simply because the manager chose to not respond to my emails. If he simply emailed me & let me know he went over allergy protocols with staff that would have been great.
