Instead of handling the situation professionally, another customer--a Black man--began threatening to shoot my puppy. The most shocking part was that the manager did absolutely nothing to address or stop these threats. After I explained the situation and provided the information I had with me, I was ultimately allowed to remain in the store with my dog. However, I should never have been confronted and told I had no right to be there in the first place. This was by far the worst experience I've had at any Jon's location. The staff were unprofessional, uninformed, and completely failed to ensure a safe environment for their customers. I will not be returning to this store.

She runs the balloon center at this Ralph's location and is so helpful! You should know that not all balloons are created equal. If you want nice helium filled ones, you're going to need good quality balloons. I got some from Daiso and the Dollar Store and they just didn't look like they were going to hold up. The price for helium balloons is the same whether you buy the balloon there at Ralph's or if you bring your own. So you might as well go with the quality assured balloons they sell at Ralph's. Each basic solid colored balloon was well under $2 and Tara ties it up nicely with ribbon and an anchor, and she will arrange them for you too if you want them in a nice bunch! The big shiny Mylar balloons come in a ton of shapes and sizes and they were about $13-15 including the balloon and helium, with string and anchor. These last a while too! Ralph's on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills is my go to for helium filled balloons! They're all over the store. They have tons of variety and Tara is the person who runs the balloon center there and she's helpful!

I also remember going to a Ralph's in the AM and I could do my shopping unobstructed because they would stock before they opened, but in a genius attempt to inconvenience everyone and probably save money, they stock during business hours so you've got people in the aisles working and stocking right when they open. If sprouts sold everything i needed, I'd keep my business there but there is no good alternative for some basics

Now let me get into the details,: I showed up there around 7 pm picked up a few items & then stood in line for checkout. Before serving me Pavithra was all smiles & friendly to the other customers. But things changed when it was my turn. Firstly, as soon as she saw me she stopped smiling, and had a look on her face that clearly said she didn't want me there. I asked do you have Thumbs UP. She said no. Then I asked her what was the price of the individual Frootis and she said $1 I said that was too expensive and I would be better off buying the whole box in bulk instead, which mind you I have done countless times at this store before. It was at this time that she lied to my face and said "we don't have that here, we just get one box and put out the juices in it inside the fridge. If you want you can buy the $2 Frootis we have." This was clearly a lie because no store ever orders just one box of anything let alone Frootis, which is a popular item. Hell, if you looked at the fridge you would see that it was packed with way more Frootis than what just comes in one box, which probably meant there were more boxes in the back. However Pavithra was determined not to help and was trying to make my shopping experience as difficult as possible! I in turn stayed calm and said "fine than I will only get 4 individual small ones" because frankly I knew I could buy a whole box of Frootis elsewhere and just needed a few to get by for now. I was even nice enough to put back the 3 extra Frootis I originally took out. Things didn't end there though. After all this Pavithra was like "do you want a bag" when I said yes she proceeded to charge me a bag fee which she didn't charge anyone else. In fact she was giving out bags to all other customers even without asking if they wanted one! Still, I was trying to be nice and wanted to return the basket I used to shop but Pavithra was like no I will do it, all the while showing an expression on her face that said get out of my store already! Like I said I have been coming here for years and was always welcomed before. I remember Shravani Di who always went above and beyond to help me get everything. Then I remember there was this one time I came at closing time and got lovingly scolded by the Didi at the counter for making her stay after closing to scan all the items I bought and we had a good laugh about it. But the way Pavithra acted clearly showed she didn't want me there and that hurt! I just want to tell the owners to hire better employees who can treat all customers equally because at the end of the day all humans have the right to be treated with respect!
