Lovely Nails - Went for my normal fill in. - Nail Salons Near Me - Florence, Alabama

! MISTAKES MISTAKES MISTAKES!!!!!! I have tried several times to be patient but I can't ANYMORE!!!!! The last time was the last time!!! Rude, ruff, ignored me when I was describing what I wanted. Then she made it seem like it was my fault because it was messed up!! One time the gel polish was so bad people saw and laughed and said "you need to get your money back." This time I told the owner and he was making excuses for the lady that provided the services. She got mad because she couldn't do one of the nail finishes that they offer. Someone else had to do this same technique, just as they did the other few times that she couldn't do it during other visits. She got mad and went to another seat on break and crossed her arms then rolled her eyes from time to time at me. I said I hope you're ok! After the my service was done, the mad lady came back and jerked the towel from under my feet. Then she said GET UP GET YOUR SHOES!!! She kept pointing and staring at me motioning for me to get my shoes. I told her give me a minute I will. Im trying to get up. Shows favoritism because my 2nd nail tech that corrected it was laughing and asking about family with the customer next to me but ignored me. Im a regular customer but I definitely don't want favoritism shown but do I want good service!! I HAVE DECIDED TO MOVE ON. BAD ATMOSPHERE! I WANT RELAXATION AND PEACE Btw it is the "CATEYE" technique read more

Awful. First of all when I first go there I was sitting and waiting and one of the ladies came up to me and grabbed my hand and I started talking to her trying to tell her about one of my nails that broke and she just walked away to look at someone else's nails when I wasn't even finished talking. Next the lady doing my nails didn't ask me what length I wanted at all (I normally do them longer) gave me very short nails and asked what shaped I wanted. I said almond and she gave me oval. Next the lady painting my nails did them very splotchy and left paint on the skin of my cuticle on almost all the nails. Overall, service wasn't good, nails didn't look good, and would not come back. read more

Ive been getting my nails done for 30 years and I have had great jobs and just average jobs but this place is the absolute worst nails I have ever gotten. what's crazy is the place was full and yes they are a little cheaper but it's still not worth it!! read more

Not a relaxing atmosphere, dirty. The male who did my nails was rough with me and made my index finger bleed. There are new owners and they totally gaslit me that their staff wasn't an issue, that I came in bleeding. Will never return here. read more

Lovely Nails (Florence, AL) is HORRIBLE!!!!!! They cater to who they want to and it shows! I used to go there all of the time until they started rushing EVERY SINGLE TIME I was in there. Now it's only gotten worse. Their attitudes are VERY bad and if I'm coming to spend my money with you and not causing any problems, I don't see an issue. I went in after I got off of work to get my toes painted, no pedicure or anything... already knew what color I wanted. A lady I've never seen before and wasn't familiar with came over and she confirmed what I wanted, I respond "Yes ma'am, regular polish.. nothing fancy" She sat there in confusion because she thought I had gel on my toes, I let her know it was indeed regular polish that I used at home but it has a gel look once it drys. She didn't seem to understand so I politely asked Paul (the owner) if he could come over so that she could better understand. He proceeds to cut me off mid sentence and say "NO! I'm not coming over there! I DONT DO YOUR NAILS! That's why I never do your nails! You're too picky!" I could have EASILY went from 1 to 1000 but instead I moved on to the next person. I wouldn't dare spend my money there again!!!!! If I had responded like I really should have, then I would've been in the wrong. Simply, Don't go here. Take your money to someone who is actually polite and isn't going to rush! read more

I guess you get what you pay for because it's cheap but it is not good. My nails were left uneven, thin, and damaged. They left paint all over my hand and when I asked them to fix it they literally scratched it off with their own nails. Wow i'm shocked. The staff was rude and threw my hands around the whole time. Very disrespectful and will not be coming back. read more

First few times I have been they did good. They did my pedicure last time I went, and drilled off the gel polish I had. They drilled so hard, it left red marks in my toes on my nails. Almost drilled through my toe nails. The nail techs seem to be aggravated that people come in. Like their customers are an inconvenience? I kept telling them my toes hurt when they drilled, but they continued to do so. read more

Went in today for a mani/pedi and stood at the front for 5 minutes. Multiple workers looked at me and did not say a word. I walked out when two people walked in and they walked past me to talk to them and started working with them. Very rude staff and the facility didn't look clean on top of it! I will not be back. read more

Dirty, filthy awful. Nails and toes don't match. It's crowded because it's cheap. Absolutely disgusting place. Do not wast your $ read more

I typically only give good reviews and leave the negative ones alone but this deserves a review. I went to get my acrylics refilled and a fresh color. I showed the lady the mint green long nails. She refused to give me the color and when I told her it wasn't right she told me that the color she had was the correct color. After they were already painted I told her it wasn't right. She said she would fix them and put unicorn powder over it. The shape color and every thing was wrong but I didn't complain, at least I had fresh nails. My concern is throughout this entire process the lady jerked, pushed and yanked my arms and hands. Slammed my hands down. Shoved them up and was just extremely rude and rough. It won't be going back and I would not recommend this salon. Not bc of the nails being wrong but for the service that came with the nails. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Barely greeted me...refused to believe o had dip on... picked at my nails before soaking them and damaged one of my nails unnecessarily.. I called them out on it and said to just finish my nail that I did t want my toes done anymore.. about because of that they cussed and me and said they didn't want to do my nails anymore and kicked me out as my nails were soaking in the acetone.... I repeat never ever step foot in there. read more

I would NEVER go back to this place all I wanted was my gel nails taken off and this is how they look a month after. Had my nails soaking in acetone for at least 25-30min! My nails have NEVER been broken off like this and been so brittle. I usually come here and get a pedicure but I won't be back because this was the worse experience ever. read more

If I could give this place a bazillion negative zeros, I would. They are rude, unprofessional and just do horrible, horrible work. They rush their work and herd people like cattle. I try my BEST to never go unless it is absolutely critical and I can't get in anywhere else. Do not waste your time nor your money going there. The only semi-personable person is the husband. His wife and the rest of that crew are viciously unfriendly and uncaring. Do. Not. Go. read more

I went there for pedi and mani. I told the lady I wanted the same color on my toe nails as the lady beside me had that she just did and she didn't speak enough English to even understand me. Very poor job on my toenails. And when she did my nails , I had polish on my skin where she half painted them and wouldn't even tell me to go wash my hands after she filed them , just painted over all that dust. My hand were white from all that dust . I had to make her redo my toes and get the nail polish off my skin. She didn't apologize or anything. Extremely unfriendly. I have pictures to prove it, if it would let me upload them. read more

I normally love going here but WOW! The first thing that kind of got me heated was that I called a day before asking how much something would be and it was 10 times the price when it was finished. not sure why I picked this place for my 21st birthday because I got a pedicure and my feet are still rough and I got a full set and my pinky nail is already lifting and it's only been two days. DISAPPOINTED!! and noticed their score was a 0. not sure how that's possible but never again. read more

I spent 2 hours here and no one helped me or at this slightest bit acknowledged my existence. They are rude and understaffed.

I will NEVER EVER return to this nail salon it was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. The young lady who did my nails made them crooked as could be, after I told her they weren't straight. When she got me to get up and wash my hands she looked at them and me and made an ugly face. Not only did she make them super crooked she obviously doesn't know how to use a nail drill properly!!! Comes to find out the lady that did my nails isn't even licensed to do nail!!!! My real nails are super thin now and as you can tell she drilled the skin around my finger nails10/10 would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! The state board rated them a 0 because their filters and everything were not as clean as they should've been, you can get fungus infections since they don't clean it. I honestly don't know how this place is still open!!! read more

My daughter and I went there to get a full set for her and a gel manicure for me. Apparently the manicure only consisted for painting my nails and nothing else. And I was charged $44! read more

All of these other reviews are COMPLETELY CORRECT. I am in town currently from Nashville and Went in today to get a dip manicure. This is the absolute WORST dip Set I have EVER had in my ENTIRE life. For one, it took probably 45 minutes before anyone even came over to me. She took MAYBE 15 minutes from start to finish, and I was left with dip ALL OVER my fingers/cuticles, the nails themselves are unbelievably chunky and uneven, and there was dried base powder all over my skin. Not to mention the HORRIBLE customer service and attitude. Save yourself the wasted money and go to Julie's. read more

I won't be going back. I felt like I was being rushed the whole time I was in there. Some of the employees are rude. It is not clean. It needs ventilation. Also everything is too crowded...no privacy. read more

horrible place rude service takes forever and dont listen to you about shape and design

I'd never go back. I had a pedi. She did clean the cuticle well. The clippers, cuticle tools, etc. are not sterilized individually. She did not use any kind of pumice stone to rough off my calluses. The massage was nice but she did not put warm towels over my legs afterwards. She did not wipe all the color off around the big toe. read more

This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. An older lady did my gel set. They were shaped all different, the polish was uneven, and she didn't take it all the way to my cuticle. When I asked her to reshape them she rolled her eyes. I went back a few days later and made them redo them. Will not be going back. read more

This business is awful I been waiting for almost 3 hours have yet to be assisted. All I needed was NAIL REMOVAL!!! That's literally all I need 3 hours for nail removal. They was steady getting people that came in before me. This doesn't make any sense. If you aren't one of their regulars you'll be waiting forever. One lady just left because she been waiting for awhile too. Like this doesn't make any sense. They need more workers here. This is why I go to Huntsville to get my nails done. Cause this area have no good nail salons. read more
