Delicious scone. Pastries.
Rhea B.

So delicious! Got a maple molasses latte, an oatmeal Sammie, pecan scone, and another bakery item I forgot the name of. ALL OF IT WAS A HIT! One of the owners, Emily, was so sweet. They made me feel so welcoming and we had a great conversation. Cannot wait to come back for more!

This is my first time coming here since Phoebe's closed and the place hasn't really changed, which is actually a great thing. I like that they still have a bunch of seating areas outside and a window counter inside, so that makes up for the small store. The pastries are okay. I tried the quiche and it was pretty good, but nothing special. I liked how Phoebe's had more slices of cake, but this place was okay. The employee who took our order was super nice. We'll probably be back when we have a yen for coffee on a sunny day because it's great, but I feel like there's something that they need to make them memorable because I can't really think of anything that I thought made them stand out from the other bakery/cafe type places around town.

Vegan galette

This new bakery is in the old Phoebe's location on Division and I have to say that we love it! We stopped by this afternoon and got a vegan veggie galette, an apple caramel roll, and an almond chocolate cream puff. We enjoyed the galette and roll on the patio in the perfect spring weather. The food was very tasty. We loooove cheese but still enjoyed the cheese-free galette (lots of good flavor), and the apple caramel roll was fluffy and perfect. Service was quick and friendly, too. Since we stopped by only about an hour before close they were out of some items (understandably) so we'll be back to try more in the future. We also saw a lot of excellent gluten free options as well!

My husband loved the raspberry roll we picked up. The cookies were really good as well. Can't wait to try other things!

I have tried almost everything and there isn't one thing I wouldn't order again. Their Opera Cake is my favorite as are the meat filled croissants, but the lemon tarts are amazing as are the simple rolls. Nothing is going to be disappointing here. Their coffee is also delicious and made expertly. They are often very busy and sell out of popular items quickly so go early if you have a favorite you want to ensure you get. They are a well oiled machine and move through the line quickly, all while being friendly and answering questions without appearing annoyed. I love the clean and minimalistic feel of this business. There is a small area for seating as well. Parking is free but can be interesting at times since there is not a designated lot for the business. Prices are a little on the high side but to be expected for distinguished fancy tasting treats.

Not even kidding, we buy anywhere between 6-12. They take us about a week to eat but oh man, we look forward to our evening sweetbuns during that time. They keep very well in the fridge; just pop one... or two in the micro for a minute-ish. They're the perfect amount of sweet. Ya know how everyones favorite part of a sweetbun is the middle? I mean, it's for good reason, its delicious. I actually cannot pick what part of her sweetbuns are my fave. The entire thing is special in its own way. The fluffy outside with a kiss of all the gooey cinnamon mixture covered in the cream cheese icing. Then moving around to the middle where both sides are covered and its a little softer. The texture when you finally make it to the middle, just go ahead and plop it all in your mouth. Goodness, whens the next sweetbun day?
