As an avid Pinterest user and control freak, I thought I had every creative idea necessary to have a successful photo shoot and just let the photographer do just that, take the pictures. Booking was easy and she guided us every step of the way. She selected a beautiful location and even happily helped us choose our outfits for the shoot! During the shoot itself, she made us feel comfortable and kept us laughing and smiling as if we were being photographed by an old friend. There were no awkward pauses and you could tell she was genuinely excited and happy to be photographing us, doing what she loves, which made it much easier for us to enjoy being there ourselves. We received our finished photos within a week, much earlier than we expected during the busy holiday season. The photos were stunning and it was obvious that she really paid close attention to detail. I chose to do a city hall wedding because - I cringe at the…read morethought of setting tables and picking flowers and making a big deal out of everything; - exchanging pleasantry with extended family and feigning interest all day felt like an even bigger chore; - I had to make an obnoxious political statement about millennials & fiscally responsible life choices & wedding industrial complex yada yada; - I have big time daddy issue and partly had the 'bullshit wedding' to troll my dad. but unconventional quirks aside, deep down every girl wanted to look conventionally pretty for that one special day. I was thrilled to find someone experienced in city hall weddings. Tom knows his way around the Philly city hall very well. He knows all the spots and angles, and if i hadn't been half an hour late for my 2 hr appointment (blaming it on the pouring rain/highway traffic) he was planning on going to a beautiful park nearby for more pictures. we got solid 90 minutes of pictures. my friend took pictures from the same angles and we saw those pictures immediately and thought they turned out really well - until we saw the professionally edited ones!
