This is the best dentist I have ever had and I have had a bunch. I've had problems with my teeth that have made me feel self conscious ever since I was very young and I begged my parents for braces to fix my crooked teeth. They were so kind, and gave in to me pleas, but soon found themselves unable to pay for them. I had braces on my teeth, without being able to see a dentist or have them removed for 6 years. I got a job and paid to have them removed myself, but by then, there was a horrible amount of damage done to my teeth. Cavities had formed under the glue. The dentists I have gone to since then were incredibly judgemental and criticized me, assuming that I was just to lazy to brush my teeth, so I avoided dentist offices at all costs. But then I broke a tooth. I was so nervouse to go to the dentist, but Dr. Loveland and her entire staff were warm, accepting, and kind. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked through the door - not judged for the terrible state of my teeth. On the first visit, they made a plan for fixing everything and they showed me how to maximize my insurance to get the most work that I could. Dr Loveland took her time and made sure that the work was not just done, but done well. It is obvious that she takes pride in her work. She asked me to check the work as she went, to be sure that the surface fillings were completely flat - something no other dentist had ever done, despite my many surface fillings. She is obviously someone who goes above and beyond in everything she does. As a patient, you really get the sense that she genuinely cares I now have a smile that I am proud of, which is something I have never had before. I had the pleasure of being served by Dr. Jennifer Loveland of the Loveland Dental Group in March 2019. I was traveling and needed a broken tooth repaired. Dr. Loveland was able to make time for me on short notice. Note that my teeth aren't great, and I've been to many dentists. The first thing that struck me is that the Novocain shots she gave me were the most pain free I've ever had. I literally felt no sting at all. Next is the incredible technology at her disposal. She used an amazing imaging system which created a stunning 3D model of all my teeth. The system then designed a replacement for my broken tooth which mated perfectly with the teeth above it. Then a new tooth was milled from a ceramic block in a special milling machine in the office. Dr. Loveland was kind enough to let me watch my new tooth being made. As an engineer I was very impressed with the equipment. The tooth was then baked at several thousand degrees for a short time. This creates a full-strength ceramic crown of an exactly matching color. As we waited, Dr. Loveland talked to me about the yellow staining on my teeth and discussed means to whiten them. These stains have bothered me for a long time, and no dentist has ever mentioned them or what could be done about it. When the tooth was finished being heat treated, Dr. Loveland installed it in my mouth and I was able to walk away with a permanently repaired tooth in a single visit. In summary, I would said that Dr. Loveland is highly skilled, employs the best technology and showed more care and concern for me and my teeth than any dentist I have ever visited. By far the best Dental experience that I have ever had! The front staff was very nice. I arrived on time for my appointment and waited in the lobby about 2 minutes before going back. The dental hygienist and dental assistant were very kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. Dr. Loveland had a great balance between being friendly, professional, and efficient. When I got my numbing shots for my cavities I didn't feel it! Dr. Loveland was very conscious of my comfort while she drilled out my cavities. I honestly had zero pain the entire time I was there. If all of that doesn't want you to go here then this will push you over the edge. I had recently went to another dentist not to long ago and they told me that I had over 15 cavities. That seemed odd to me since I have only had a few cavities in my life. The other office gave me a quote that I would have to pay $1,500 out of pocket on top of what my dental insurance was going to pay to get all those cavities filled. I wanted a second opinion so I went to Loveland Dental group. Dr. Loveland said that I only had 2 true cavities. I had a feeling that I was getting ripped off at the other Dental office and that they were trying to steal my money. On the other hand Dr. Loveland was very honest and she saved me TONS of money. In addition to all of that, we took my 6 year old daughter here to get 2 cavities filled (Like father like daughter:) and she also had no pain. This office interacted so well with my daughter and they really know how to make the experience less traumatic for kids and adults. I never post reviews, but I have to let everyone know how much I appreciate Loveland Dental Group in Cornelius! They are absolutely AMAZING!!! My Ukrainian mother (who doesn't speak English) has been struggling with her dentures for a long time. She has been to many different dentists and none of them were able to fix her issue. This left her feeling discouraged and hopeless. We heard about Loveland Dental Group from a neighbor. She told us Dr. Walker is the best person for dentures in the area. I took my mother to see him but didn't have much hope that he would be able to fix the dentures. To my surprise, Dr. Walker took on the challenge and was able to fix the issue. Dr. Walker was extremely patient with my mother's language barrier and made her feel very comfortable. He would also make sure to schedule my mother as his last patient for the day just to make sure everything was done properly. Dr. Walker is very skilled at what he does and he has a compassionate heart. There were times when the dentures looked good enough and most dentists would've called it done, but not Dr. Walker. He kept perfecting them because he said "Your mother deserves a beautiful smile". I came to every office visit to be my mother's interpreter and the office environment is amazing. The staff is very friendly and I felt like a family member. I also got to meet Dr. Loveland, who is the daughter of Dr. Walker. If I could give Dr. Loveland, Dr. Walker, and the whole group 100 stars, I would! I had a fantastic appointment that included two fillings, my first ever, with Dr. Walker. He was very kind and knowledgeable! My 8 year old supposedly needed four fillings--according to the pediatric dentist. The first filling for her at the pediatric dentist was a horrendous experience, and she cried, begging me not to take her back. So I immediately called Dr. Loveland's office and explained the situation. Jody, at the front desk, got my daughter scheduled immediately with Dr. Loveland. Dr. Loveland and the hygienist we absolutely AMAZING!!! They explained everything to my daughter and made her feel comfortable and cared about. Turns out she only needed three small fillings and a sealer on the fourth. Dr. Loveland treated her like her own daughter!! My kiddo left smiling, laughing, and hugging Dr. Loveland and the hygienist! The receptionist that does check out was fantastic as well. She asked how my daughter did,how her experience went, and welcomed her to the practice!! Everyone is positive, sweet, GENTLE, treats you like you are family, and genuinely cares about your overall well being!!!! i've needed extensive work on my mouth for several years now. I had trouble finding a dentist and more importantly a staff that I trusted. The office manager, Kelli talked to me several times before I ever became a patient and eased my worries prior to my first visit. She has became my go-to for any problem that I may have now and she always has an answer for me. Betsy, my hygienist, is one of a kind. She was caring, kind and gentle. Dr. Loveland... where do I begin? She is my ROCK, my HERO! I have never known a more compassionate and caring person, not just a dentist. The entire staff have been wonderful to me. They are competent, friendly and definitely go above and beyond what you would expect from any medical specialist. They genuinely care about you. After a year long time stressing about my night guard at a previous dentist office my boss recommended Loveland Dental. She said they were amazing. I called and spoke with Kathy to discuss my insurance and make an appointment. She was so warm and kind and took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and how to get the process started. I met with Dr. Walker and discussed my concerns with my current night guard and issues I was having . He was knowledgeable, kind and reassuring and took the time to talk to me about how to correct the issues . Even though I was quite nervous prior to the appointment, I am happy with our discussion so much I ended up booking another appointment with Dr. Walker again in 2 weeks to continue the process. I just had an amazing experience at Loveland Dental Group. I felt comfortable at every stage of my visit. Melissa, the hygienist, did a fabulous job on my teeth and I left with that tingly feeling you hope for after a cleaning. Dr. Loveland was extremely pleasant as she informed me about the work I need done and options I could entertain for the future. She insisted that I not feel pressured about making decisions regarding my oral care. My first time visiting the dentist office In almost 5 years. Called and spoke to Kaylee, had an appointment scheduled is let's than 5min. Upon arriving was greeted by all the friendly staff and completed all the initial paperwork. Was back getting looked at within 15 minutes of arrival. The hygienist was very thorough and descriptive about the Health of my teeth. Took care of a cavity on the spot! Can't say enough good things about this practice. After my dentist retired, looking for a new dentist seemed like a daunting task but the Loveland Dental group put me at ease. Jennifer is so knowledgeable, does very thorough dental work, and has a great chair side manner. My hygienist Melissa also makes my trips to the dentist stress free.
