There is a note in their system that verifies that they received the check and it has been pending for 1.5 months. I have called many times and been told it was escalated with no resolution. Today I received a text saying money I paid them already was sent to collections. I also called the office and was disconnected "on accident" after expressing frustration with money being sent to collections that my insurance has already paid. DO NOT GO HERE.

I had oral surgery as my tooth was extracted & the socket filled with cadaver bone to begin the seven month grafting period. There was also a suspicious lump on my tongue that was removed for biopsy. I noticed it a year ago & forgot about it. People, this Covid thing has us all going nuts, so take care of yourself. Especially now. Dr. Bonine has on average seven emergencies a day. So if they fit you in to take care of your emergency, relax & enjoy the beautiful building & landscaping. There is also a lovely outdoor area, if you prefer to wait outside. Sorry to be this wordy, but I wanted to make a special attempt to thank the doc and his staff for make what potentially could have been a horrible day into a very pleasant day. BTW - Fear of needles here, there was no pain. Beautiful office overlooking a lovely pond with tons of birds. Great music & especially great people. I was so amazed at the quality of work and her wonderful bed side manners that when I needed implants I knew where to turn to. Although Dr. Doan and I no longer work together (since she relocated and started her own office in Brighton, Michigan) I still choose to make the lengthy trip to see her. I saw this company on 6/21/24. At the checkout, I was given a $365 bill. I was never told to ask…read moremy healthcare insurance or dental service if they covered this consultation visit. I assumed all was well. At the checkout, the owner lady stated, "Your dental insurance usually only covers the x-ray that you had done today once a year. Yeah, they denied coverage." Why would I not be told this before services and x-rays? It took them less than a minute to find out if it was covered. I was not warned to contact my health insurance or dental insurance prior to my appointment. They gave me a bill to pay out of pocket (I have good insurance through UofM hospital.) When I complained that people should be warned PRIOR to treatments/procedures of the potential lack of coverage, I was spoken to in a condescending tone about payment plans. I believe they 100% know what they are doing and are fraudulent. I have filed a report with the better business bureau as well seeking reimbursement. This is bad business practice and I highly discourage you from getting services here.

A few years ago, one of my rear molars cracked on a holiday weekend. I had been complaining about…read morepain with this molar for sometime but the dentist I was seeing was reluctant to really take care of it since I would need a crown. When the tooth cracked, I called Grand River Dental and was able to see Dr. Rondeau that weekend. Needless to say, I did have to have a crown and unfortunately a root canal too. Dr. Rondeau took great care of me throughout this process. He called an oral surgeon colleague of his who got me in on an emergency basis for the root canal. Crowns and root canals are never a wonderful experience, but I felt I was given great dental care throughout. Since then, my entire family has switched their dental care to the people of Grand River Dental. I find the receptionists to be friendly and welcoming. And the hygienists are always friendly and try to make you as comfortable as possible during the cleaning process.

I had 4 crowns put on my front teeth 6 years ago and had been experiencing bleeding between the two front teeth for years. Also at that time I noticed the bottom two front teeth getting a "yellowish" look at the bottom. I was told "oh that's your root...is it bothering you?" I would say no and they would say "oh well if it starts hurting let us know". Last september I went for my cleaning and they did the panoramic extra. Not once in the LAST 5 YEARS had they taken xrays of my front upper or lower teeth. Long story I won't drag out but he sent me to the periodontist who told me both my upper front teeth were having root resorption - a rare problem but from me previously having knocked them out years ago. But she was ABSOLUTELY STUNNED that he had not referred me for my bottom teeth and that I was in jeopardy of losing several of them as well. She actually said it TWICE. I am now facing having both top front teeth removed and replaced with implants, orthodontics to hopefully push my lower teeth down so the periodontist can perform a frenectomy ( which was causing my roots to show) and a gum graft. When confronted as to how he missed this all he could say was "I don't see your xrays on your front teeth". "I am not sure" .I am now facing HUGE bills to have all this work done For years I asked about my exposed roots and was told "oh do they hurt? if not let us know if they do". Run - don't walk from here! I wish there was a negative stars button!! I just spent the last 18 months in braces to push my front bottom teeth back into my gums and endured an incredibly painful gum graft in March to save them. At the same time pulling my front tooth down so it could be pulled out before it fell out and I would have had no bone left to put an implant into. The time, expense and pain I shared with you was answered with "I am not sure how that happened". I guess maybe you did not realize it was me as you stated above that you would love to personally discuss my concerns. Negative stars are not enough for your review.
