Definitley one of our favorite hotels ever…read more First impression was very warm and inviting, the lobby is beautiful and the staff is ultra professional. Unfortuntely, we were not pleased with the room they gave us (right next to the noisy front desk, view of the parking lot), so I requested something better (it was our 30th anniversary, after all) and they obliged, which went a long way with us. And everything was a huge thumbs up from that point on! The room itself spoke strongly to our aesthetics - dark wood, cozy, cabin-like feel, but with all the amenities of an upscale apartment, including a comfortable bed with cushioned headboard, well-stocked kitchen, full-size refrigerator, pod coffee machine, WiFi, two large screen TVs. And we had a great view off the patio/deck. There was no run-down furniture or bad carpet or imperfections in the wood or curtains. Everything was pristine clean, including the outdoor chairs and table. And everything worked perfectly and intuitively - lights, plugs, fireplace, shower (with great water pressure!), stove, small kitchen appliances, and a refrigerator that was super cold when we arrived. It might seem like these are all obvious things. But we have stayed in so many hotels, some quite expensive, that had all sorts of little things that didn't work right, were dirty or worn, or were difficult to figure out. Those little annoyances added up to big disappointments. The fact that everything was functional, clean, and easy here was a fantastic relief. Side note on the room: our one complaint was the pillows. Standard "bulk buy" flat flat flat hotel pillows. This is such a ubiquitous thing (the one and only exception I've ever experienced in the US was the Lotte Towers in NYC) that I can't really let it affect my review, but I did find it a little disappointing that they don't spring for better pillows. Service was wonderful. They sent up sweets and drinks on two different nights, as anniversary gifts. The doorman happily brought up our load of luggage, with door to door service. Front desk was always helpful and friendly - the with directions and recommendations and they sent up slippers since we forgot to bring any kind of slip ons to go to the pool. In the lobby, coffee is available in the mornings, fruit and water in the afternoons, and dessert every night from 7:30 to 9:30. We spent one late afternoon at the indoor pool and jacuzzi at the spa, and then made our way up to the 4th floor hot tub with mountain views. So beautiful and relaxing. We also visited Spur, which we did not enjoy, but I reviewed them separately and do not feel that should carry over into the hotel review. No question we will come back here when we visit the Tetons again!

The accommodations were extremely nice, one of the best during our 10-day drive. You're within walking distance from some restaurants, the town is cute, the rooms are clean and equipped with kitchenettes, and toiletries are provided. However, while sitting outside with my dog, a man approached me (despite my dog barking at him he continued to approach) to inform me that cats were not allowed and he would be reporting us. I truly had no idea and made this clear, I figured he worked there but based on his responses to my questions ("is there anything we can do about it?" "I don't know, just don't let them find out but I'm still reporting you") I think he was actually a random person staying there. It honestly hit the point where he was harassing me for about 5 minutes about it, it wasn't a productive conversation and left me a bit distraught because I truly had no clue. We searched everywhere for something that outright said there were no cats allowed, because we are truly not people who like to do the wrong thing and felt horrible, and the way this man kept telling us he was going to be reporting us made me very concerned we were going to be kicked out of our accommodation at 11pm. I've seen other reviews that say the same thing: if cats outright are not allowed, this really needs to be made clear on the website. On the official websites for Cowboy Village, it either says pet-friendly or dog-friendly, and perhaps we should've been able to read between the lines and assume that meant no cats allowed, but that shouldn't be the customer's job.

New Earth Residential is a preditory company that employs every trick in the book to scam their residents into paying numerous sketchy fees on top of the ever-increasing exorbitant rent increases year after year. In addition they require residents to sign away rights to their personal information, which the company then sells to various third party companies for their own profit. There are better options in Jackson. Stay away from this place.

I had been put on the waiting list in October 2020, was told I was number 5 on the waiting list. I was not told to make any payments for a lease hold fee (which is a non-refundable $200+ fee as well as a $40 application fee) had I known this was needed it would have been paid. I had reached out in February to where I stood on the list - no response. Through internet searches, I discovered that there were two units coming available in May so I took it upon myself to reach out to see if I could get one of those units...(I was never notified that they were available) I was then offered a unit to which I called multiple times to say I would go ahead and they never picked up my calls. So last resort I emailed to say I would like to go ahead with the unit and I was eventually notified the unit had be given away... It is quite clear they arent concerned about honoring the list of people. A respectful business would have honored the people waiting in line especially when they said they were interested. Disappointed by this I then tried to call the office and never got an answer *multiple times* (also they note that they are always reachable between 9-5 M-F...clearly not) I finally got my call answered, said my name and that we were talking last week about me going ahead with a unit and was greeted in a disrespectful tone and clearly spoken down too in an extremely unprofessional way. I was in shock that a prospective resident was treated like that. Still in shock. I had then asked simple questions and again was spoken to horribly. Save yourself the wasted time and stress of dealing with this 'manager' and leave the housing hunt for elsewhere....If this is how you get treated trying to get an apartment before they even have your money, imagine what it would be like to have them not care about you at all when you live on property and they take your money every month. Disgusting.

We have kids and they were beyond accommodating with having multiple high chairs, cribs, and a pack n play in the house ready for our arrival. The house did not have air conditioning which I think is fine for the majority of the time, but it was in the high 80s while we were there and there were a few nights that were incredibly hot upstairs. They did have multiple fans in every single bedroom which was nice. This wouldn't stop me from staying there again but a few things that I was surprised about... -3 of the 4 bath tubs had the stop drain removed so you couldn't fill them for kids to take a bath -one of the closets had an opening to the attic and there was insulation kind of hanging down out of it -the beds were all made with an insane amount of blankets, comforters, etc. I'm assuming they use the same bedding year round -the hot tub was closed for repairs, but no one seemed to be repairing it -it's $75 for a key to turn on the firepit... We booked the horseback riding online for 4 people. Unfortunately one person was unable to make it and we were able to have another family member take his place. Our guide was Hannah and she was amazing! She was incredibly helpful, shared a ton of facts and information along the way, and was really kind. I would definitely go back - just for the ease of everything and the amazing views knowing that there are likely a few things to keep in mind when booking.
