I have lived at Aspen Meadows for five years now. In the beginning it was really nice, but two years ago the property was taken over by a company called New Earth Residential, and EVERYTHING changed. New Earth Residential is a preditory company that employs every trick in the book to scam their residents into paying numerous sketchy fees on top of the ever-increasing exorbitant rent increases year after year. In addition they require residents to sign away rights to their personal information, which the company then sells to various third party companies for their own profit. There are better options in Jackson. Stay away from this place. read more

If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. Completely unprofessional and take advantage of the limited availability for people to live in Jackson. I had been put on the waiting list in October 2020, was told I was number 5 on the waiting list. I was not told to make any payments for a lease hold fee (which is a non-refundable $200+ fee as well as a $40 application fee) had I known this was needed it would have been paid. I had reached out in February to where I stood on the list - no response. Through internet searches, I discovered that there were two units coming available in May so I took it upon myself to reach out to see if I could get one of those units...(I was never notified that they were available) I was then offered a unit to which I called multiple times to say I would go ahead and they never picked up my calls. So last resort I emailed to say I would like to go ahead with the unit and I was eventually notified the unit had be given away... It is quite clear they arent concerned about honoring the list of people. A respectful business would have honored the people waiting in line especially when they said they were interested. Disappointed by this I then tried to call the office and never got an answer *multiple times* (also they note that they are always reachable between 9-5 M-F...clearly not) I finally got my call answered, said my name and that we were talking last week about me going ahead with a unit and was greeted in a disrespectful tone and clearly spoken down too in an extremely unprofessional way. I was in shock that a prospective resident was treated like that. Still in shock. I had then asked simple questions and again was spoken to horribly. Save yourself the wasted time and stress of dealing with this 'manager' and leave the housing hunt for elsewhere....If this is how you get treated trying to get an apartment before they even have your money, imagine what it would be like to have them not care about you at all when you live on property and they take your money every month. First Sheryl the property manager is incredible. She takes such good care of the property and the tenants. She is very helpful and kind. The apartments are nice and spacious. The new washers and dryers are very easy to use and they notify you on the app when your cycle is done so you don't have to sit around and wait for them. This is a wonderful place to live and also Luis the maintenance tech is friendly and very good and getting things fixed up for you if you need it. read more

This is the first time I've felt compelled to write a review. I do not recommend renting here at all. This was a nice place once upon a time but it leaves a lot to be desired now. There is currently raw sewage outside my door. Unfortunately, this is not the first time. The last time it happened and i complained, they raised my rent. (They also raised my rent after i complained about my car getting vandalized in their "gated" parking lot. I say "gated" in quotes because the gate is often left open.) This time, the raw sewage has been there for almost 48 hours. There are literally, wipes in the bushes as I type this review and the sewage hole is uncovered. There are numerous children in this complex; this is clearly a biohazzard. I know plumbing accidents can happen, but this is a pattern of non-concern for tenants. Both of my neighbors are elderly and we were left without usable facilities for almost 24 hours. That's not right. I reported this incident to the onsite manager yesterday at 8:30 am. She informed me it was a unit issue with several apartments reporting the same problem. When i followed up, 8 hours later, she informed me she is "no longer responsible for maintenance" and told me to call maintenance directly. After 3 calls, i reached maintenance and he informed me the plumbing issue was resolved and that he would be by today to clean up. He did not come by and he did not answer his phone.It is now after 5 pm. I reached out to the onsite manager again. She sent me the owner's number. This unfortunately, has become typical service for this complex. read more

I moved here in Dec 2019, much to Sheryl's supportive, helpful, accessible self. Sheryl showed compassion and empathy while answering my endless questions about the apartment and the Jackson Hole area. (since I was moving here sight unseen) Sheryl has continued to be a helpful, cheery face to see around the complex. If I need anything done I am able to contact her and/or maintenance and it is completed in a very timely manner. The apartment is recently updated - new EVERYTHING, including the toilet (lol), clean, quite place to live. I love the location. Perfect distance to be able to walk to the majority of your errands, while being a quick trip up to the village. Thank you Sheryl . read more

Extremely pricey for what you get. I'm in a "deluxe studio" and there is nothing deluxe about the place other than the half walls between the kitchen so "if you put up curtains you can make a 1bdrm" (managements exact words) the snow removal is hardly removed and the steps porches are left to the renters to remove snow. There is ice and about 2" of snow always left on the ground. And if you have kids don't expect them to be allowed to play outside cause that's not allowed. We get notices a day or 2 in advance that the parking lot is going to be closed either for the day starting at 6 or 7 am and sometimes it's closed for days...in the winter you can't park on the streets so now we all have to find places to park and bus to and from our home and car. They now have them listed at 2,000 for a studio...oh and I also failed to mention that my hot water only last 15 min total before it's cold! Asked if they could check it out and they did and said everything was fine! I can only get a bath 1/3 of the way full before it gets cold so I have to boil water for my kids to take a bath..idk about you but that is NOT Normal in any way!! Lived here since May and the unit that I live in has been remodeled and it's absolutely stunning. Neighbors are kind and warm and there is a great sense of community here. Dan is amazing at getting all maintenance handled in a timely manner and he keeps this place looking top notch! Living in Jackson is expensive. You pay New York-like prices in small town Wyoming. Good housing is snatched up fast, and landlords here are notoriously greedy. Unless you enjoy being taken advantage of as a tenant, I would highly reccommend you explore other options before choosing to live in, what I not-so-fondly call, the Aspen Ghettos. It goes without saying that I felt ripped off paying nearly $1000 per month for a dark, dingy, hilariously named "deluxe" 400-square foot studio apartment. Every time my neighbor upstairs moved, I could hear it. I seriously listened to him wake up and pee at 5 AM every morning for 6 months. My bedroom area was so small and poorly designed that a queen-sized mattress had to be turned sideways to fit, almost entirely blocking the entrance to the bathroom. The light in my kitchen fell out of the ceiling one day. The weatherstripping on the doors ripped out. The towel racks in the bathroom pulled out of the walls. The on-site laundry rooms feature the smallest washers and dryers I've ever seen in a commercial setting. They cost $1.50 for a wash that leaves much to be desired and another dollar to semi-dry them. Generally, you have to repeat the process several times to get a clean load of laundry. Recently, a dryer literally ate half my load - leaving my clothes streaked black with grease and with huge holes. I'm no rookie when it comes to move-out cleaning - I've moved three times this year alone. I have always received my entire deposit back upon moving out of places. Upon moving in, I asked what the expectations were in order to receive my full deposit back. The manager informed me that they have "high standards of cleanliness" upon move out and that only 2 apartments he could remember met his standards enough to receive the entire deposit back (which, in case you were wondering, is a whopping $1200 for the super-lame studio). I took that as a challenge and spent two full days scrubbing all 400 square feet of my crappy place. Essentially, what I learned is that regardless of how much time you spend cleaning the place when you move out, the management will still conjure up a reason to charge you liberally for cleaning costs. The reason my apartment failed the impossible cleaning standard was "dust and crumbs". This qualified me to be billed for hourly cleaning at a rate of $40/hr. I don't know about you, but my job in Jackson paid less than $9.50 an hour. If I could make $40 an hour cleaning "dust and crumbs", I'd be all over it. The slumlords who run this place are sheisty. They see tenants as profit. They will take advantage of you at any given opportunity. It might be hard to find other housing in Jackson, but it's most definitely worth the struggle. Plan ahead. Stay with friends. Live in a tent. All of these are superior options to this dump. read more

I have lived in a deluxe studio unit at Aspen Meadows for about 8 months, and it is among the best options for apartment living in Jackson Hole. Utilities are rolled right in with your rent, so the hassle of multiple bills is eliminated. The community is well maintained and is conveniently located near the bus stop, grocery stores, and the post office. I would recommend Aspen Meadows to anyone looking for a good value on apartment living in Jackson Hole. read more

We just moved into aspen meadows and it is very cozy. We have a deluxe studio where the bedroom is separated from the living area by the kitchen. The kitchen has a lot of space for everything.. Lots of counter space and many cabinets. The fridge is a decent size and there is a double sink, which is clutch. When we moved in we had a few minor issues but our property manager, Sean, fixed them right away. These apartments are perfect is you're looking for something small in beautiful Jackson. Also, K-Mart is directly behind the apartments as well as supermarkets, liquor stores and bus stops. Very happy to live here read more

Not only did they make sure to get me in earlier than anticipated, but also had all of my furniture from storage already in the apartment upon move in day. My husband and I have lived at Aspen Meadows for 2 months and are quite happy here. The 1 bedroom studio apartment is well laid out, with a lot of closet and kitchen space. Just right if one is interested in an artistic, simple life. We can walk or bike everywhere we want to go, including trail heads and Grand Teton National Park. The units are well insulated for noise, (we have not experienced winter temperatures yet) the most we hear are kids playing outside. People are friendly and considerate. The management is attentive and professional. We have rented in Hawaii, Alaska and internationally. This experience has been one of the most pleasant. read more

I moved to Jackson in January and have only lived in a "deluxe studio" at Aspen Meadows so can not compare Aspen Meadows to other housing options in Jackson; however I have lived in other ski towns and understand what housing in a resort town can entail. So far I have been pleased with my living experience here. The walls are thin, but my neighbors are overall very quiet- the most I hear is a front door opening/closing every once in a while. I'm often concerned I'm the loud one because they are so quiet. The closet space/storage in the unit is more than adequate, (however, I still have a storage unit for a lot of my gear). The manager is very quick to respond to emails and has excellent customer service. I've had one maintenance issue that once reported, was resolved in a matter of hours. The laundry facilities suffice. Ample parking. The grounds are overall well kept. Most tenants use the space under the stairs near their front door as a garage, (bikes, tires, grills, etc.), which doesn't look neat- but I guess that's what you do in an apartment complex. Sometimes there are pieces of trash not picked up. In the winter the walkways were well maintained- however the parking lot got terribly icy and snow filled before it was plowed, (to the point I was nervous I wasn't going to be able to get my SUV in/out). But they did request all tenants move their vehicles and bring in a plow truck once which solved the issue until spring. The apartment complex is close to a movie theater, post office, park, hikes, bike trails, and grocery stores- and everything else is a short bike commute away. read more

I gave 3 stars because it is over priced for a studio BUT that is because we are in Jackson, WY. And in another sense it's the cheapest I was going to find with my own space (sharing with a good friend). So I know I am paying also to not live with roommates I do not know. Utilities are included but cable/internet and that is a plus! I love that. it's nice not to have to worry about your heat. And the management so far is great and accommodating! read more
