I discovered Duckpin Consignment when I was looking to unload some highend handbags and shoes I no longer used. While the staff reviewed my items, I had time to explore the three floors and was so impressed with how the shop was curated and the condition of the offerings. They have clothing, shoes, sunglasses, handbags, belts and jewelry. The inventory is extensive and they are particular with what they accept for consignment, they review condition on all items so a lot of the stuff is very gently used, almost new. A great place to treat yourself to something nice!

She talked about in that era there were many rap artists that came out with designer brands. Thinking nothing of it I bought the jacket and someone pointed out to me I was wearing !!!PUFF DADDYS, brand SEAN JOHN!!! I had expected to view another store of hers, and when I called merely asking for an apology, as I thought the sale was deceitful and she knew its P.Diddys, she dismissed me and hung up. I was also told that the pieces I brought weren't a great fit for the store. I had some good labels that I thought matched their vibe--Calvin Klein, Banana Republic, a 100% linen jacket from Kathleen Sommers, an orange suede jacket, etc. Full disclosure: I may have made the mistake of including one or two pieces with a stain or flaw, which could have led to judgment on the rest of my items and made them seem undesirable. To be fair, maybe what I brought truly wasn't a good fit. However, I wasn't given any additional feedback or much sense of appreciation for coming in, so I'm probably just not the kind of seller or customer they're looking for.
