Our 10 day trip was absolutely wonderful. Susan, our driver was just terrific. She was so very knowledgeable and kind. We were quite touched and blessed that she took us by the Gallarus Oratory, which is located on the farm where our grandmother grew up. It brought tears to my eyes to walk on the land where my grandmother lived. She even stopped for a quick photo of the church in Ballyferriter that our grandmother would have attended. We were able to meet up with cousins while we stopped off in Dingle. This personal touch made our trip one that we will never forget. The sites for each day were carefully selected and each was a new fantastic experience. I cannot go to bed without hearing the lyrics of Molly Malone in my head. I will head into the future with a newfound, more intense, appreciation of my Irish heritage. Two friends joined my sister and me on the trip, and they loved it as well. This was a wonderful blessing, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see the country. read more

We were on a 10-day small group (16 people max) tour that circled the island. We had 14 in our tour group. We had enough room on the bus that we each got our own row with plenty of room for our stuff. Our guide/driver was Kieran. He loved answering questions and telling us the history of the area. All the hotels were all excellent (one was even 5-star). All breakfasts were provided and dinners were 3-course meals with 3 different options. Our bags were brought to the van and into our next room at every stop by the porters. We got to see so much of the beauty of Ireland including stops not included on the itinerary such as the sheepdog demo and the Celtic steps show (additional charge but worth it ) If you don't want to drive, but want to see the major highlights of Ireland this is the way to go!! I would prefer that we start later some days or had more shopping time. We were normally on the road by 8am most mornings and back at the hotel by 330-430pm. read more

We just completed the 10-day Loop of Ireland tour with Love Irish Tours to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. This ended up being the trip of a lifetime, easily, the best tour experience we have ever had. It was a small group tour (12 people) with a beautiful Mercedes bus that was extremely comfortable. The itinerary was first rate with stops at all the major tourist locations (Hill of Tara, Blarney Castle, Dingle, Cobh, The Cliffs of Moher, Killarney, Galway, Donegal, Slieve League, Belfast, Giants Causeway, Ring of Kerry & Dublin). The hotel accommodation was first rate at all 4- & 5-star hotels. The star of the trip was our driver/tour guide Fintan, he made the trip the success it was. His knowledge of Ireland and all things Irish was amazing. He has a wonderful personality and a great Irish Wit (a lot of Craic), he was extremely patient and kept us all on schedule always with a smile on his face. Second trip using them , first trip was 5 stars with Robbie Allen as our driver , Second your we had Aiden McGuinness, great guy overall, problem was riding in the coach for far too long everyday , getting into hotels at 5 or 6, no time to explore anything as most of the shops were closing . Aiden did his best but far too many trivial stops along the way ( as per the Driftwood tour schedule) drive times of 3-3.5 hrs turned into 5 + quickly . I probably won't return to Ireland for another vacation but if I did not sure I would choose any "tour" package read more

Katrina and Patricia are awesome! We phoned because we had specific places we wanted to go in Ireland. We gave them the Towns and counties. Katrina came back with a quote and locations. We changed a few things which included Katrina working with a B&B they had not used before but it was a specific request on our part. We were thrilled when they were able to include Farmhouse Knockanish in our plans. We arrived at Dublin airport and picked up the rental (included with quote) and off we were to the beautiful Irish Countryside. Our accommodations were flawless. We did have an issue with rental but that was Hertz. Katrina and Patricia took care of it and we exchanged the vehicle at another location. I can't say enough about how happy we were with all arrangements. We did a self drive which can be harrowing in Ireland but it was what suited us. It included the car, gps, B&B and discount tickets. They also arrange guided bus tours and private tours. The quotes were very reasonable and the customer service was outstanding. read more

I came about finding Love Irish Tours by Googling. Seeing mostly 5 star reviews I quickly contacted them about setting up a "road trip" tour of Ireland for my husband's 65th birthday. There were six of us including our daughters and their husbands. I can't even begin to tell you how immensly pleased I was with how Love Irish Tours (LIT) handled our booking from soup to nuts. Katie Allgood was my contact and I gave her a vague description of what we wanted to see and what areas we were interested in. She worked closely with me to fine tune our itinerary specific to my needs. She answered all my questions quickly and made changes as needed. At the last minute we decided that one of the cars was likely to be too small to acommodate the baggage of 4 people and she happily made the change to upgrade the car for us. Maybe it's just the Irish way or maybe Katie and LIT greased the wheels but everyone we met at our hotels, car rentals etc. were absolutely a pleasure to deal with. We had vouchers for everything and never once had to show them to anyone. She arranged beforehand with the hotels and car rental agency to have the correct names of each couple who were renting the cars and staying in the hotel rooms. We stayed at 6 different hotels for our 11 night stay. Each hotel was different from the other, some new and modern, some older and quaint, all with all the amenities needed, i.e. a great pub and a restaurant. All hotels provided FULL breakfasts which we took complete advantage of! We booked all of our tours and sightseeing ourselves but Katie and LIT would have done that for us also. Honestly, if I could give more stars I would. the day we arrived in Ireland she emailed me to check in and see that we had arrived safely and offered help in any way if we needed it. Needless to say, we didn't need any additional help due to the fantastic job LIT did for us. Do yourself a favor and use LIT! read more

I gave the Claire the cities that I wanted included in our itinerary and after going back and forth we ended up with a fantastic vacation. Just returned from the 6 day Flavour of Ireland tour and it was as good as we had hoped it would be. We hit a small snafu the morning our tour began and the owners made it right immediately by comping our drinks that night at dinner and then also by paying for a small detour we took when our driver overheard us talking about how we'd love to see a sheepdog demonstration. The accommodations were all 4 star with great food and stellar service from the staff, the bus was comfortable and clean. And even if none of that were true, our driver Kieran would have made up for all of it. There are no words to describe how attentive and efficient and friendly he was. He drove us all around the island making sure we saw everything we wanted and got the greatest pictures as well. It is safe to say that Kieran made our trip just about perfect. We can't wait until our next trip and will definitely use Love Irish again. read more
