Not just your ordinary farm mart, Lou's offers cakes, produce, deli, seasonal items and even frozen meals. Lou's soups are a fan favorite here and taste like home made. With insane specials, sometimes Lou's is better than the grocery store. Look for Logan on TikTok to find out what's on sale each week. Plenty of spring summer flowers to choose from on the spring and Christmas trees and grave items in the winter their outdoor area is just as fresh as their produce. While not everyone shares Logan's exuberance, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Weekends can be quite crowded but they really work efficiently to get you checked out. read more

Whether a small shopping is needed for those in between visits to the supermarket, or an ingredient is needed for a recipe, or maybe you are in the mood for some  homemade pie/cake...Lou's Farm Market is our go to place for it all.    It's nothing short of amazing how much this market offers in the way of  produce, deli meats/cheeses, frozen/diary items,  an assortment of popcorn/Frito's/chips, freshly made to order sandwiches, snacks, delicious pies and desserts, and for sale outside of the store, there are lovely seasonal plants, shrubbery, gardening goods.  The staff here is excellent ~ working the registers, we are always greeted with a warm smile and are consistently asked if we found everything we were looking for.  Definitely don't mind driving the extra 20 minutes or so to visit Lou's ~ it's a wonderful neighborhood market no matter how far you have to travel. read more

Such a cute place!!! We stopped in to grab bagels and some veggies for the weekend. Bagels were very fresh, veggies tasted homegrown, and we also grabbed some cake for dessert. Cake was delicious too and could tell it was homemade. read more

Prices and freshness are at least as good as anything nearby. I'm a regular customer of deli meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and occasionally some of their specialty products. But keep an eye on what they sell you. The weights are off on the deli stuff a good amount, and they occasionally mislabel things so you are paying far more than you thought. I'm writing today because I bought $6.99/lb cheese, then got it home to find it marked $11.99/lb gourmet ham. I wish it was the only time it happened. but it's more like 4 or 5. High-quality deli products. When you order a sandwich from them for lunch, they are slicing the meat and cheese right when they make it! Today I got an egg salad sandwich on rye, and it is super fresh. The store also sells so much great produce, baked goods, and more - pretty much anything that would be good for cooking and serving tasty food. Lou's has been a staple in bensalem for quite some time. They have a humble store where you can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheeses, deli meats, assorted chips and beverages, and also some frozen items. They also have candy, pies, corropolese bakery pizza. Unfortunately, nothing they sell is organic. Around the holidays they will sell pumpkins, Christmas trees and flowers. read more

I ordered the Easter family meal which came with ham slices, pineapple stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls and butter. I can't say enough how good the food was. First, there was plenty of food. I think it would serve 10. There were only 4 of us for Easter dinner. We had tons of leftovers that everyone got to take home. There was so much ham that I froze two packages and might freeze another. The leftovers are just as delicious as the first day. Ham is very moist, not dry at all. It has pineapple chunks and cherries. Each vegetable came in its own container, and they included a huge quart of the fried onion topping to put on the green bean casserole. I will definitely be ordering from Lou's again. This is my first time purchasing anything there. read more

I spent the day getting lost, trying several different places to see if they had fresh local corn on the cob. I was so hungry for it and it would be the perfect addition to those five pounds of crab legs that I was cooking. I drove NE, W and south of me and all of the corn was from Georgia, I did end up buying a few ears at another place, which claimed it was local but the husks looked old. During my travels I saw a truck unloading tomatoes, cucumbers and fresh corn on the cob to a small wooden table along side the road and under a shade tree. I slammed on my brakes, pulled over and put my flashers on. Folks were quickly gathering around the small worn out table and each one asked, Is it local? Yes, it was just picked this morning in New Jersey, yay! I bought one dozen ears, why? For heavens sake what in the world will I do with fifteen ears of corn! It truly is fresh and so crunchy and sweet and I am anxious to cook more up tonight and tomorrow night and the next night... So, why did I still need to find Lou's Farm Mart when I had more than enough corn? Because I have been reading their ads for years in the weekly Clipper magazine and have always been amazed at the deals they are offering. After four or five people gave me wrong directions ( I sometimes think they do that as a joke ) I found an honest face and in dismay I said could you please tell me how to get to Lou's. What a good Samaritan, he had me there in two minutes flat! The building used to be an old diner, you know all shiny metal with the big windows along the front, of which they added on to big time. The outside holds flowering plants, very healthy and established at extremely low prices. I bought a large tomato plant that already has four good sized green tomatoes on it for $1.59! I also bought two flats of annuals for the large side bed that I am still working on, $15.00 plus I had a coupon for $5.00 off! Inside you will find a very friendly and down to earth staff who actually understands we are keeping them alive, so helpful too. The huge produce area carries it all at unbelievable prices, I bought a whole seedless watermelon for five bucks, two large cantaloupes for $1.50 each, a large bag of sweet Vidalia onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and more. The large Georgia peaches that were advertised at $1.00 per pound, not only in the clipper but on their sign out front was priced at $1.59 per pound inside, which I brought to their attention and they were more than happy to adjust the price, although I decided to pass after seeing all of the fruit flies hanging around and they were anything but large and ripe. They have a nice sized market with shelves of pantry items and snacks and a large deli with all kinds of homemade salads and desserts, like bread pudding, the only thing that I bought at the deli was a pound of shrimp salad at $6.99 per pound with nice sized shrimp. A local bakery supplies their rolls, bagels and loaves of bread and they have a bakery section with fruit pies, cookies and cakes. One of the coupons was for a free dozen XL eggs, which I took them up on and two family sized boxes of Snyder's hard pretzels, two for three bucks. They have daily lunch specials of a hoagie, a bag of chips and a soda for under four dollars and they were selling them like hot cakes, if you are not interested in the daily specials they have a nice sized take out deli menu. Discounted prices and you don't have to buy in bulk. They carry their own line of fruit butters, jams, marinades and salad dressings. Really easy to find, once you realize where it is and well worth the trip! Thank heavens their corn was from Georgia, although once Shady Brook Farms has it available then so will they. I was loaded up with all of my goods and helped to the car with my flowers and even given a free six pack of very healthy petunias. Lou's Farm Mart is the place to go for lunch sandwiches and hoagies. We stopped there and I got the roast beef with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. I'm convinced everything is good here, because my hoagie was pretty standard. The ingredients are all fresh and things are made to order. Sometimes they have daily deals and you get chips with the sandwich. It's a really straightforward farmers market. Everyone is really friendly and the prices are very reasonable for a whole lot of food. I suggest coming here once you've worked really hard during the day. read more

Everything fresh! However prepared salads ie egg chicken and even hot meals tho delicious are LOADED with coarse black pepper!!!! Not everything needs pepper esp coarse ground. Lighten up the pepper otherwise everything is good! read more

The food inside is prety decent. But bought two Thanksgiving meals, advertised as "Fresh roasted turney, all white meat," and a pie. The turky was thivk-sliced deli turkey, not real turney, and the pie was undercoked. Never again read more

The few times I get hoggies one of the first places I would go is Lou's. I always get the Italian Supremo, it's on a two foot sesame seed roll with the best Italian meats and cheeses. They have an excellent selection of produced prepared meals as well. read more

I love Lou's. We go every week. This weekend I got 2 lbs of pasta salad as we were having company. Embarrassed and disappointed. Out of 2 lbs, there was 1 cherry tomato and a few green peppers. That was it. All pasta. Hardly any flavor. Very sad. Last time I get that. read more

Lou's was a great find, and I will certainly be back. It is basically a marriage of a fruit stand, produce store, and deli. Everything they carry is high quality, including but not limited to the array of Cento products they sell. Their deli counter has great lunch meat and salads as well. The thing I love about the produce here is that you don't have to buy it pre-bagged. You can actually sort through and bypass the rotten crap, unlike most other farmer's markets. For a bunch of lunch meat and more produce that I know what to do with, I spent $85. It is a bit pricey, but ill gladly pay for the quality! read more

Nice farmers produce store and deli. Yes it is more price than the grocery store but you really can't compare the two. You can pick through and take the bad stuff out. The deli always has specials, and always fresh. They have fresh baked goods, pies, rolls, bagels etc. You will spend more than expected, cause you will come home with more than expected. I am always amazed at the girls on the cash registers. It's fresh products. No scanning. It's done the old fashion way, they know the goods, they weigh the goods, they know the prices, and they are as fast as all get out! Whom-ever trains them has a great system. Anyway, if you're passing by, just stop in for a ham & cheese hoagie deal, then decide later if it's worth going back. read more

Lou's Farm's Market they are nice and the fruit and vegetables are fresh and I love Lou's home cooked Roast Beef it's the best. And all there deli meats are fresh and great and I love the that they have the barrel pickles. read more

Lou's is a great place! I love their selections of fresh produce. In the summer it's often local stuff. I stopped today for a hoagie. It wasn't the greatest experience I've had. First off was the guy taking the order. He was very rude and standoffish. His first question was "what do you want" like really? As I was ordering he was looking around and not paying attention. This wasn't my first encounter with him. He's has been like this in the past but I've overlooked it. Another issue is charging for pickles on a hoagie. They never put them on, always give you a cup, which is an added charge. I could see if I asked for extra pickles but come on. $7.00 for a turkey hoagie that is just okay. Oh and you have to pay extra for pickles and peppers. What a joke! read more

I was so disappointed to learn that you guys don't sell Corropolese's tomato pies anymore. My daughter's baby shower was yesterday so we tried the new ones and we all were extremely dissatisfied with them. The crust was tasteless and under cooked and the sauce was no where as good as Corropolese's. PLEASE, PLEASE bring them back!! read more

The soups are always to die for! The minestrone was better than any minestrone we have ever had, anywhere! I hope they make it again soon. I find the fruit is way cheaper than Giant, especially the honey crisp apples, they are at least 50% cheaper than any supermarket. Deli items are always fresh and delicious. read more

A friend a mine happened to recommend this place to me a while back and it's probably the best recommendation I received in a while! The hoagie trays are about the same price as shoprite & giant but they taste good plus the salads aren't too bad. I've also tried their chicken finger tray for the kids; not one complaint! Produce is always fresh. Their summer fruit like cherries, peaches, and strawberries are always sweet. The deli sandwiches are good too. Most of the deli folks are nice except the one grumpy older lady. Her grumpiness is actually kinda of funny. I think she is grumpy because there is always a line at the deli (because the sandwiches are good). The cashiers are always sweet and quick. This past Sunday I stopped by for the first time. The peach pie is delicious, the strawberries and blackberries were fresh and sweet [best I've had and best price too, I compared the price with the local grocery store in N.J.], however the red velvet bundt cakes were moldy. Iwas embarrassed when I served it to my family and they pointed out the growing mold. Lou should be careful to remove outdated items from the shelves. read more
