He's done classes for 3 years now, summer camp, and some clinics or day camps. His different coaches (Tony, Jackie, DJ and Tyler) have always been supportive - so, special thanks to them ! We're very excited for him to move up to Jaguars in the Fall. We let him choose every single session if he wants to continue, and he has never hesitated to say yes. I have also done the baby classes with my youngest and it was really sweet and fun (coach Maria era!). I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to join back in Saturday classes, as these start at 3. Signup can be a bit stressful as there are more families interested than spots, especially on Saturdays, but we've succeeded every year since we wanted to enroll, by being quick and efficient at Registration start time. It also gets easier as the kids grow up. And of course, the registration priority during the year is key, making it smooth and easy 2/3 of the time. During camps, the recent addition of aftercare until 5 pm has been a nice option. They're very responsive in case of anything needed. Last but not least, I particularly like their inclusiveness and positive messages, it's great to expose our kids to these early on and I'm glad they do that. Long live Industry and Natalie :)

If I could give 10 stars is still not enough for this amazing judo place International Judo Center…read more(IJC) My 2 teenage sons are training at IJC for 2-3 years and they are more and more excited as the days go on. Initially I signed them up for 3 days a week but they love it so much that they asked to go 5 days a week. YES, 5 days a week and very happy, stronger, more confident, more stamina, very disciplined and organized as well as more clear minded. Not only physically they have improved significantly but academically too. Sensei Saro is top notch judo professional who treats everyone with respect, instills a sense of confidence, guiding my kids to challenge themselves, and to overcome their fears also to believe that nothing is impossible if you are dedicated, to pursue your dreams of being a good judo player and further more... a champion. Before starting judo one of my teenage son was at the lowest he can be mentally, behavioral wise and low school performance. Before it was too late, we spoke to Sensei Saro and we the parents and him came to a consensus that he will start judo. No exaggeration at all.... JUDO TURNED MY SON'S LIFE AROUND THANKS TO SENSEI SARO. Now we are the proudest parents. Not only that he is doing excellent in judo by he happily competes in all competition. My son loves judo now, and he wouldn't give up judo for nothing and nobody. THANK YOU SO MUCH SENSEY SARO. We could never thank you enough for bringing back happiness in our family in my son's life. I get that they're going for a very bro coded boxing gym vibe, but the locker rooms in this place were just dirty. Gross stuff in the corners in the bathroom, and the toilet itself looked like it hadn't been cleaned or wiped down in some time. The workout itself was challenging but also had a very small portion of actual boxing for being a boxing gym/class. About 75% of the class was running and conditioning. There weren't enough boxing bags for everyone to have their own, so we switched off with a partner who did other body weight exercises while we boxed. The boxing combinations weren't very complex. The instructor was hard to understand. If this was the only workout available at the time slot I was looking to work out at that day I'd take it, but this was not a great experience for me. That said, if you love running indoors in a circle and don't mind a little bathroom grime this might be your new favorite place.

They also offer tutoring for Chinese, Spanish, math, chess and SAT prep. All the beautiful artworks displayed in the center fosters a very creative environment. The class sizes are small so the kids have a pretty good teacher to student ratio. They also hold events like Father's Day, math summer camp, Halloween and dance performances for the kids, where the children can get their makeup/face painted and take home free DIY arts and crafts. I personally took an adult yoga class at their huge annex (a few blocks away) and was really impressed. It was a small class in a newly renovated dance space, and I didn't feel intimidated as a beginner, which was perfect. I'm looking forward to attending more classes soon!

Bad! Very bad! The worst daycare center we have ever been!!!…read more I downloaded this app just for leave a comment . A lady called Helen kept pushing us to buy their product, and force my daughter to join the class which she clearly didn't want to. Also, she pretended to be very nice to my kid, that didn't sign up yet. But I overheard she shouted to other kids at another room, I guess they are her own kids. It's also unprofessional to bring her own kids to the workplace. The place is at the underground, it's damp and no fresh air. Don't recommend for young kids.

Gentle Art? More like gentle fart…read more This academy is structured like a Brazilian social club. (Whites and Hispanics are accepted, other races are unfortunately ostracized.) The culture is extremely cult like and their ranking system is extremely inaccurate. They will guilt trip you into participating in competitions. Pros: Location, academy looks cool. Cons: Toxic culture. Men and women all share the same changing space. The mats are rarely cleaned. They make you take pictures at the end of each class, every class. Your pictures get blasted on their social media accounts. Fake niceness. Gentle Art's high ranked belts have no real skill or talent. They muscle out every technique and have no humility. If you've been around the game and have experience in martial arts/bjj, don't go here. They will not treat you with respect. People will try to hurt you on purpose here. All their good reviews are from students who are just sipping the gentle fart kool aid.

The class was 75 minutes long, which as someone who only does yoga a few times a month, I thought the lengthy class might be agonizing. But to my pleasant surprise, it wasn't!! There was the right amount of switching between different areas of the body to focus on that I didn't get too fatigued or bored. I don't remember the instructors name, but I liked him and how he led us in our yoga practice. Also, he came over to help physically adjust me while doing one of the poses. I'm totally fine with this (I actually prefer it), but I do want to point out that he didn't ask permission ahead of time. Again, not at all an issue for me! But if you're someone who doesn't like being adjusted by yoga instructors, you might want to bring that up privately before class starts. I will definitely be back!!! Tip: the yoga studio is on the second floor. The door is actually located on 33rd street. Find it then press the button and they'll unlock the door for you.
