Very nice view for a release of stress!

Very nice park when the sun is shining over Seattle. Kinda small, but very quaint and soothing.

Quiet little park to relax and soak in the beauty of Lake Washington. Nice, peaceful place to meditate and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

View from the park

Ok, so this is a really small park, not ideal for children to run and play in because of the bank drop off and too small for dogs to run around. BUT it has one hell of a view! On a clear day you can see everything form Mt. Baker to Snoqualmie Pass. It also has good clean benches to sit on unlike other city parks where you dont even want to know what was spilled on that seat. Overall: This is a place to be alone and reflect. Bring a book or a date and just sit and enjoy the sun and the view.

beautiful view!

“It's a very small part, but the view out to Lake Washington is just one of the reasons I love living in Seattle.”

Kerry Park is amazing on a sunny day. If you are feeling ambitious and want a good workout I…read morerecommend walking up from Lower Queen Anne. The last time I did this my Apple Watch said I had climbed what is equivalent to 22 flights of stairs. The final stretch is steep and your legs will definitely know that you earned the view. The beautiful flowers and trees also make the walk worth it during the spring and summer months. There is a nice resting area at the top. I am also happy to now see snack vendors setting up here because a cold drink really helps before walking back down. As someone who lives in the area I would not drive up. Street parking is limited and always seems to be full. The hunt for parking might become its own workout. I am not sure if it is officially part of the park but there is also a playground for kids a few sets of steps downhill. Do not forget to walk over to Parsons Gardens to see the flowers during the summer. You should also stop at Marshall Park for views of Elliott Bay and the cruise ships on a clear day. The walk along the West Queen Anne retaining walls also offers beautiful scenic views. Kerry Park is a must visit in Seattle. It is also a great local walk to enjoy with your dog friends.

Extra points if you visit around sunset. It's small and parking is limited. Be prepared to park and walk - especially if you visit during peak times.
