Great service and the food is as good as it has always been. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I had an excellent meal (soup and salad) for $8.00 at Louis Restaurant on Old Broadway . The service was excellent and the food delicious. Louis is a classic dating back to 1958 and is a staple in the North Broadway community. They have wonderful appetizers, and of course traditional Italian dishes. You can also get a burger, or cheeseburger, and even steaks. If you have never been to Louis you are missing out on excellent food for very reasonable prices. Follow me on Yelp for more places to eat, and things to see and do in and around Knoxville.

Wowza! The baked lasagna was out of this world. The side salad was an afterthought... maybe if you were in the restaurant it would be stronger. So close to a five... the staff was not friendly. And while the website touts 20 min curbside I was told 30 before it was ready and an additional 25 wait once I arrived. Definitely a staple in the area!

We came on a Sunday at 12:30 PM and it was busy! There was about a 30 minute wait and we were asked to wait in our car or outside and they would call us. While waiting in the car, we tried to decide our meals, but we waited since their menu was a little confusing. We saw pictures of a Sunday menu and wanted to make sure the menu wasn't different. Well, they have a Sunday menu and their full menu served on Sundays which makes choosing food harder! Everything sounded good! I decided to go with a Southern classic and my husband went Italian. They gave generous portions at a great price. We were sooo full! We didn't have room for dessert, but when I heard they offered complimentary rice pudding, I couldn't say no! Next time, we will try their pizza!

The service was really good. If you want a nice southern family environment, this place will suit your fancy. The environment was a mix between Gondolier and Stoney's. They have plenty of seating and even a private room for special group events. It definitely has an Old School 70s and 80s vibe.

We decided to go to Louis last night. I read the reviews and I was a little hesitant. Well I'm glad to say I have been to Louis. And I have no interest in going back. The service was excellent. The food .... It was horrible. We got the mushroom and onion ring appetizers. It was nothing outstanding. The onion rings were bland. I ordered the baked lasagna and my husband got the baked manicotti. Both entrees were awful. I took like 4 bites and I'm done. He took 2 or 3 bites of his. I have had better warmed up stouffers lasagna.

Great family-owned Italian restaurant!…read more One thing to know before you go: they only take reservations for parties of six or more. We arrived around 5:20 p.m. and were seated immediately, but by 5:45 there was already a wait. If you're dining with just one or two people, there are several seats available in the bar area. I started with an Old Fashioned. The moment I saw the bright red cherry and small ice cubes, I knew it probably wasn't going to match the quality of the food. It was drinkable, but they could definitely upgrade their Old Fashioned program because the food deserves it. Every table starts with a fresh salad and warm bread. The salad was very good, and the bread was absolutely delicious. I decided to try something new, the Pollo Dill, and I'm glad I did! It featured chicken and rigatoni tossed in a rich, flavorful Parmesan cream sauce. It was outstanding and easily my favorite dish of the night. We also ordered the Pollo Parmesan and the Pollo al Limone, and both were excellent. Our grandkids enjoyed the spaghetti with a huge meatball, which they quickly devoured. The service was attentive throughout the meal, and our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant has the warm, welcoming character you'd expect from a longtime family-owned Italian restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Italian food with generous portions, friendly service, and plenty of charm, this place deserves a spot on your list. Just get there early if your party has fewer than six people. Cheers!

The waitress was amazing, in top of all her tables with drinks, never rushed us, provided suggestions and was very nice. M The food was delicious! We tried the stuffed mushrooms, the bread and salad, the Dill Shrimp and Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was hot, fresh and well paced. This is an excellent, romantic spot. Dimly lit tables, individual booths, you can have a conversation. We will be back with our family for another meal soon.

Such a fun girls' night at Bella!…read more From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so pretty and welcoming. The ambience really made it feel like a fun night out instead of just grabbing dinner. Our service was great too--everyone was so nice, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. And you HAVE to try the tableside cheese wheel pasta! Watching them make it right at the table was such a fun part of the night, and it was absolutely delicious. The salads and appetizers were also SO good. We honestly enjoyed everything we ordered and had such a fun time just hanging out, eating, and enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely **make a reservation** because I can see this place getting busy! If you're looking for a fun spot for a girls' night, date night, or just a really good Italian dinner, Bella is definitely worth checking out!

I really like that they take reservations; it gives the whole place a true date night vibe. We started with the truffle fries, which are always a great choice (Added ranch on the side of course). Next time I'm definitely planning to try the artichokes and Brussels sprouts: they looked amazing coming out to other tables. For drinks, I tried the Greenway seasonal cocktail and it was my favorite of the night--really well balanced and something I'd order again without hesitation. I also sampled the cucumber basil martini, which was fine but not quite as good even though it's in a similar flavor profile. The Gold Coast was another solid option, just very strong and on the boozier side. Food-wise, I probably should have stuck with what they do best (the pasta and cheese wheel with added chicken) but I tried the mushroom rigatoni instead. It had a good base flavor, but it was a bit heavy on the pepper the night I went, which overpowered it for me. I'd skip that one next time. I'm curious to go back and try the short rib or the vodka sauce pasta instead. To finish, the chocolate pot de crème was perfect: rich, smooth, and just the right portion. If you only want a few bites of dessert, it's ideal. Overall, Bella is still a go-to for me, especially for a nice dinner or date night atmosphere.
