Her capacity to care for humans in need is also remarkable. Read on... This year my mother passed away, leaving her precious little pup Kabuki reeling with the loss. A few months later, my father became ill and could no longer care for him. I was also ill (this has been the year from hell) and couldn't come to bring him to his new home with us in Portland with. On short notice, Lanelle took care of him for us for more than a month (maybe even 2?), sending us photos of him in pumpkin patches, doing yoga poses, looking clearly happy. And she did all sorts of extra things to help us, like take him to the vet and calling around to get the certificate of health needed for the ground transport service to bring him to me. And the most endearing thing was how she checked in with me several times after she sent him off, missing him, wanting updates and to know he was well. Now that is the kind of woman you want caring for your special little fur-babies. WOW. just wow. She helped us through a time of crisis, providing Kabuki with stability and love when he most needed it and we couldn't be there for him. We couldn't have done it without her. Now our little pup is happily enjoying his retirement in Portland.

They are hands on owners. Their staff is just as wonderful as they are!!! We had a scary situation last year when our lab suddenly has a seizure at daycare. They called me and our local vet immediately. I was a mess! Everyone at Camp Bow Wow was calm and very helpful. They made a horrible situation a little less stressful!! They are friendly and seem to enjoy the brief conversation while I'm there. They seem genuinely interested in any comment or concern I have with my dog. The caregivers are also happy and polite when they receive my dog...know his name ect... I've been in retail/ customer service for over 40 years. There is not much "customer service" around anymore. Our dogs are not only watched over, but often come back bathed and brushed. They will even give our dogs meds if needed. They require that you provide a leash and food at pick up...that's it! Super easy. There are some simple forms to fill out when you first sign up for services, but they are painless. Two of our four dogs are also what you can call "problem children" but Kritter Kare does a great job at calming your pets and separating them in a way where every one gets along. One our of dogs apparently has a huge crush on Matt and doesn't like to come home...lol! Kritter Kare is amazing and highly recommended!
