Once narrowing our options down, Neema and Fred both stopped by as scheduled to measure the space and provide recommendations while also dropping off samples to visualize. Both stated multiple times, there is no rush, take your time. Once we locked down Fred stated the material should be ready for install in 2 weeks and beat the date. Once the material was ready, next up was installation. Neema called to ensure our questions on install were answered and like clockwork, Manuel and the team showed up ahead of time and installed our flooring with precision. What amazed us was that throughout the process, Manuel checked in multiple times to make sure we were up to date on the work. Install was unbelievably professional and the post install cleanup was impressive. No dirt or anything left behind. Only a phenomenal floor that only made us question why we waited so long. They were always on time (8:00 AM every single day) and cleaned up nicely afterward. What impressed me most was how they handled a few small issues during the job; the moment I brought something up, they fixed it right away without any pushback or arguing. Jon is a local general contractor since 2002 whose projects are almost entirely from word-of-mouth. I got to know him professionally during my friend's kitchen remodel; during which she couldn't be home for 6 weeks due to unexpected surgery, hospitalization and rehab. During this time I regularly observed Jon's dedication to complete her job to perfection to ensure she came home to her new kitchen. Bill is a true craftsman! I've had a wood gate that has needed rebuilding for the last 8 years…read more Pieces of the wood gate were rotting. Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.
