Overbooked and overcrowded. Ordered child's plate and told to wait 90 mins... had to leave without getting food.

Grape juice is great. However, the food is a little expensive. It's not enough for most of men.

I can't say enough good things about Sneaky's, everything was fantastic!…read more Came here for my uncle's 70th and was really impressed. The food was great. For entree I had the arancini, which was nice, and I also managed to snag some of my husband's bruschetta which was great. It had a good kick of garlic without being overpowering. For mains I was served possibly the biggest eye fillet that has ever existed. The photo doesn't really do it justice; it was huge, cooked to perfection, full of flavour and meltingly tender. My husband had the pork belly. It was nice and sweet and the meat fell apart as soon as the fork touched it. The crackling was good, but not great. My brother had the barramundi, I didn't try it but he was happy with it. The kids chose the chicken nuggets and fish & chips. The nuggets were your stock standard fare. The fish, however was one large (adult-sized) piece in a homemade herb crumb. My daughter wasn't so keen on the crumb (perhaps too strong a herb flavour for a young child) but we cut that off and she happily devoured the fish. After dinner they did tea, coffe and babycinos. Then it was time for dessert. I didn't try the chocolate birthday cake, but everyone seemed to love it. There was even a separate cake for the kids (rainbow sponge). They also have a wood pizza oven there. We didn't have pizza as part of our function but I did see some getting delivered to the tables outside and they looked good. If we hadn't just eaten a three course meal I would have ordered a pizza for the long drive home. The decor was nice, looked like a wedding reception with the fabric draped from the ceiling. There's also a large grassed area out the front. The kids had fun running around out there between courses. It would be better if it was fenced off better, but not really a big deal as one of us was always out there with the kids. The staff were also great. There were plenty of staff working and they were all really nice and attentive throughtout the function. If you happen to live in the area (which unfortunately I don't) or are passing by definitely check out this place.

Love this quirky place, run by a young Italian guy from Rome and his wife. We joked that he must…read morehave been on the run to have ended up in burra, a sleepy little town on the way to Broken Hill or even the Flinders Ranges, This place which on the outside looks like a tin shed (don't be put off by that), is dominated by a massive wood fired oven which is in the middle of the restaurant. The menu consists of mainly pizzas cooked in that beautiful oven and usually a roast pork or other meat also from the oven and pasta dishes which change according to ingredients available. The drinks are help yourself from the fridge on an honour system and mainly consist of a house white/house red (very good ones), beer and soft drinks. Those pizzas have beautifully crisp thin bases and imaginative toppings. Our only complaint is that for us there was too much cheese, I imagine because that is the way the locals, and Australians generally like it. So we had two pizzas and they are huge, followed by a pasta dish, all lovingly cooked by Paolo. All delicioso. So full no dinner required! The garlic bread comes out to you in a paper bag, a nice touch. We loved Pecora Nera. If ever you are in Burra try it. Oh, and it was packed on a Sunday at lunchtime so the word is out......

Great welcome and terrific food. They were really busy but we were treated to wonderful friendly…read moreservice and not rushed. I could not finish my pizza so it was happily parcelled up for us to take back to our caravan.
