A few people that were stuck underground with all of us "I assume regulars mentioned this happens more frequently than infrequently." Finally employee from the garage came out after we were all ringing the assistance bell from the 1st sign of a problem.

The location is also rather inconvenient, and the overall atmosphere at Essers of LA feels small, claustrophobic and unimpressive. In comparison, some other gyms are more expensive, but you get what you pay for--offering a more comfortable and well‑situated experience. When they state their gym lacks the "bells and whistles" of a certain competitor, they mean it. Also, I had my car window smashed in once while parking there, so beware!!

I just completed my 6-week Foundational Training course with Alex and was very happy with his…read moreprogram. With Alex's background in crossfit, we were able to go over some key movements and lifts that are perfect for those just beginning or have a moderate level of experience in the gym. Having very limited crossfit experience myself, he was really great and super thorough when explaining each movement and how they should feel in the body. The best part? He did this all over Zoom and I was able to complete the program with 3 other friends all on the same call. The program is structured to cover stretching/mobility, strength, and then conditioning. Each session was 50-60minutes and there was about 20-30 minutes of stretching and instruction and then a 20-30 min workout. We also each met with Alex individually so that he could understand our fitness levels and fitness goals. I don't have any fancy equipment at home, but I do have 2 dumbbells and that was enough to complete the 6-week program. I highly recommend Alex if you're looking for some personal and/or virtual instruction, especially if you're just starting out with strength training!
