She's an absolutely fantastic esthetician and I feel so lucky to have found someone so skilled, detail-oriented, and knowledgable in her craft. She recently moved to her own studio at Salon Republic, and of course, I had to follow her. If you know me or have followed my reviews over the years, you'll know I'm super picky about my skin and brows. My skin is crazy sensitive (I frequently have adverse reactions to various products and extractions) and I'm one of those people whose self esteem is dependent on the state of my eyebrows (they really do make such a difference!). My brows always look great after Eva sculpts them, and her facials always make my skin glowingly soft and smooth. She's flexible with scheduling (she was kind enough to fit me in on Friday evening, when I was having a minor skin emergency - on Monday night, as I type this, my skin looks great!) and she's such a sweet person. If you're looking for a top notch esthetician, go see Eva. She's the best!

Sometimes I wish I lived in LA so I could experience one of her amazing facials I've heard about. Since this was an out of town wedding (I live in Arizona and we were having the wedding in Southern California), I wasn't able to meet with Marlu before hand to talk about what I wanted or to do a trial run. I provided her with pictures of the type of look I wanted and they were able to execute it perfectly! This isn't to say that you should have a trial run, I'm sure it would have made things easier for Marlu walking in if we had done one. However my point is that Marlu has the ability to recreate what YOUR looking for. They were able to achieve a natural look with my makeup and my hair was perfect! I wish I could post a picture here of the final results so you could see the amazing work they did. My mom's hair came out amazing as well! She was so excited to be pampered for a bit by Marlu and her team. They also did a great job with my bridesmaids. They all wanted a similar look, down with loose curls and they all had very different hair types. They did a great job working with each person to achieve a uniform look. Marlu is simply amazing and has my highest recommendation!

You can't spell MARVELOUS without Marlu!! :)…read more Everyone's skin has "issues" but in my case it was time for a crisis intervention, LOL. I am so thankful I found Marlu. After keeping regular appointments over the past few months, I have seen a significant improvement in my skin. She is very thorough, yet gentle with her skin treatments. It's also great to work with her because she understands the variety of issues that occur with different skin types (hyperpigmentation, oiliness, dehydration, etc). Marlu is pleasant, flexible with scheduling, and very encouraging. It's easy for anyone to feel self conscious about their skin, but Marlu's friendly personality allows me to let me guard down. Every time I get a facial I see an immediate difference the next morning. It's exciting and a relief to see the transformation! In addition, she is great about keeping a clean space and making sure her clients are comfortable. She's worth every penny and I can't wait for my next facial!

I discovered Perfect Touch while looking on LIfebooker. They were running a Lifebooker Loot offer…read morefor laser hair removal and it seemed like a great deal so I thought I would try it out. Once I purchased my vouchers I contacted Wendy, the owner of Perfect Touch, and was able to easily make an appointment with her. She even has evening and Saturday times available, which is a great. Perfect Touch is located on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica a few blocks from 3rd street. It's in a doctor's (OB/GYN) office, but is run separate to the medical practice. Wendy, who owns the business, is a nurse and is very knowledgeable about lasering. The lasering itself was quick and easy. Wendy offers numbing cream at no charge (a lot of lasering places charge for this) and it made it pretty painless. She also was good at checking with me throughout the procedure to ensure I was still comfortable and not feeling any pain. I'm surprised that there weren't any other reviews for Perfect Touch. I've only had 1 treatment there and was very pleased. Only 5 more services to go! If you're in the market for laser hair removal I would definitely recommend Perfect Touch. Tips: Laser hair removal is not recommended if you're tan (or have been tanning) I actually postpone one lasering because I was too tan. So be sure and not use tanning product or go tanning before your treatment(s) Wendy doesn't just offer laser hair removal services, she also does: laser pigemenation treatments (sunspot damage repair), stretch mark and scar laser repair, injectables (Botox, Juvederm, etc...) and facials & peels (Glycolic, stem cell products, etc...) There is parking in the building where Perfect Touch is located, but it's much cheaper to find street parking.

She is result oriented and puts a big focus on product ingredients. And boy does she know her stuff! She is so well-informed, I just enjoy picking her brain! She is someone who truly loves skincare and loves helping people, and she studies up! She uses a mix of both European and American skin care technology, and is very thorough, patient and communicative throughout the whole process, explaining what other aestheticians do, and why she does things differently. She even texts with me after my visits to see how I am doing! She offered to mail me some moisturizer for free when she saw I was using a moisturizer that is actually more drying that not, which I hadn't realized. Who does that?!! Sarah is wonderful. Last week, I had a prp facial with her. Wow, my skin has never looked so good in my life. The rosacea is gone, I have a clearer complexion, my acne scars are diminished after only one session, and my fine lines are reduced. I was enormously skeptical about the process, particularly after seeing scary stories online about the process. I am a convert! Skin care technology is making leaps and bounds these days. There is no need to hit the toxins, fillers, knife, etc. Sarah is leading the frontlines on procedures that just boost your existing natural collagen. Couldn't be happier.

Sarah at Bel Air Aesthetics was WONDERFUL. I'd never done anything like microneedling for my skin…read morebefore, and I'm so glad that I chose her to begin addressing my issues. A few years back in my mid-twenties, I experienced sudden, strange, inexplicable breakouts on my cheeks that left the surface of my skin positively lunar. It took about four years to recede on its own, during which I slathered on tons of makeup which wrecked its own havoc on my pores. Also I'm over thirty and live in LA -what's sunscreen?- so I can't say I haven't started to accrue my own fair share of fine lines. So I bought a package of microneedling sessions with Sarah, and after only one session, my skin already looks better. My skin glowed, a redness that persisted mostly on one side had noticeably receded, and my skin all-around appeared smoother, less bumpy, and certain lines were less noticeable to me. She was very patient and informative, made very sure she answered any questions I might have had about the process, and was in equally great communication with me during the actual session. She took GREAT care with how she approached my skin, was always asking after my pain level, and informed me of her every move and why she was making what choices she made all the way through. Afterwards she let me grill her about how to take basic care of my skin and what a healthy skincare routine REALLY should look like. It was great to be able to ask these questions of someone like her, who really knew what she was talking about, wasn't trying to sell me anything, and moreover could tell me what I DIDN'T need to include in a routine (I get overwhelmed with options and don't know what's really necessary or not). I am so excited for my second session with her! After years of avoiding dermatologists of any kind and being too suspicious of other, more drastic sounding interventions, I feel very lucky to have found Sarah.
