Nothing too fancy. Just simple. Calm. Peaceful. I went today for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Very open minded and welcoming atmosphere with a lovely masseuse! I personally called beforehand and as soon as I walked through the door, everything was prepped. I truthfully aim to go back as soon as possible! I think the thing that moved my rating up to 5/5 stars is the fact the woman who was giving me my massage was so incredibly kind and she did an amazing job too! I keep seeing these mixed reviews but for a first timer I couldn't have asked for much more out of a normal spa! Beautifully lit rooms too.

I've been a few times & although it was never near one of the better massages I've received, it was enough for the low price (only reason I didn't give 1 star which was more appropriate due to my experience). My issues/concerns are ... They use lotion from a jar which is very unsanitary for them to dip their fingers into this jar w/each client. They don't use paper coverings for the face placement on the table & I can't help but feel they don't wash all of their linens after each client. The masseuse instantly starts the deep tissue massage prior to 'warming' up your muscles. The worst part about my experience today is ... I tipped 20% & the woman @ the desk tapped the counter & asked me to put an additional $5 down. The fact that I tipped 20% is irrelevant in this situation. This is such inappropriate & unprofessional behavior. Once she saw the shock look on my face, she smiled as if that softens her inexcusable request. Unfortunately, I will never go to this business again & will recommend others refrain as well.

Omg DO NOT get a massage by the older man!!! I felt like he was taking out his anger on me, for I don't know what because we didn't really speak. I love a firm massage but this was way too painful. I left hurting more than when I went in. Every time I told him it was hurting he said it needs to hurt because I have knots. He would ease up and then go back at it with all his force, primarily with his elbow. He seemed to be more focused on massaging my gluts which made me uncomfortable as I came in for a shoulder and back massage. I only went for 30 min and was dying for it to be over because it hurt so much. By that evening my entire back was blotchy with bruises from the massage that I had to soak in Epsom salts and couldn't sleep all night from the pain. 2 days later my back is still sore to the touch and the bruises are even darker .... NEVER AGAIN! This is what I get for going for the cheap convenient place in the mall.
