Lauren the pharmacist confirmed that they do indeed do COMPOUNDING MEDICATIONS, she was very nice and answered all of our questions. We honestly didn't shop around but the price seemed to be fair, since insurance doesn't pay for this medication. The rest of the pharmacy staff is also very nice and good with following up. They were able to get our prescription filled in a timely manner. However, good to note: they ask you give them 1 to 2 weeks notice for compounding refills. Give them a call, they seem to be very accommodating. BONUS: they also carry PET MEDS - I was able to find a probiotic for my dog that I couldn't seem to find anywhere except through VCA. **PS this is a Korean owned pharmacy, but they can fill any prescription and though they answer the phone with a Korean greeting (which I love), they do speak English, so don't get discouraged or hang up. ann-yeong-haseyo! :D

This went very well until the prescriptions began to be filled too soon for me. I was running out of space in my freezer to store them. I called and asked that they not fill the prescription until I needed it and to call prior to filling it. This was the process to be followed. It happened once. I have requested on multiple occasions to have a prescription transferred to another pharmacy and it still has not been transferred. I have spoken to the owner, the pharmacist and employees. A week prior to needing the medication refilled I found they had filled it and dropped it on my front bench without informing me. I called again and asked that they transfer the prescription. I was informed they did not have it and they would call Beach Terrance to get it transferred. I had now no more of one of my medications. I had now been out of the medication for 3 days. I called Beach Terrance and asked if they still had the prescription. I was told they did. I asked that they fill it and them transfer it. I was told they would do so. I just checked after 3 weeks and found this still has not been transferred. I will call again tomorrow and speak to them once more. I have enough on hand now to make it to my next appointment with the prescribing Doctor. If this has not been transferred I will request a new prescription.

Sometimes, it's better to go to your local pharmacy like this where your pharmacist know you by your first name, and genuinely care about your wellbeing. I started looking for another independent pharmacy and saw C & H. Stopped in an introduced myself. About a month later, I was "done" with CVS and went back to C & H. I walked in and The pharmacist, Hai, called me by name. I transferred all medications and have always received prompt and personal service. C & H was able to special order one of my meds as the brand CVS had wasn't working and they were unable to shop around. C & H went above and beyond to find a brand that worked.
