My experience at lotus had to have been one of the best I have had in awhile especially in Durant I got a French set and a pedi... I did have an issue at the beginning with first man just being a little rough and feeling like I was being rushed.. usually I sit and just won't say anything then usually I won't go back but today I decided to say something and boy did they go over the top to make sure I new they were sorry and they fixed and made it 1000 times better it made me a lot more comfortable with them also I have no issues with the gentleman because he could have just been having a rough day I would know because as a cosmo I have a few a time or two myself but it's how you correct yourself that matters and I will say I will 100 percent will be going back.. I went here because my normal nail salon was randomly closed. I had been here once before and had a decent experience so upon coming back I asked for a dip manicure. For some reason the nail tech painted the dip powder on with a brush instead of dipping like you are suppose to do. She also only put on one layer and I was charged over $50 for it. 2 weeks later, I went back to my regular nail salon we could not get the dip off. It is stained onto my nail. I walked in at 7 and they got me seated even though they close at 730. I thought that was nice! I got a pedi and new set of gel almond shaped nails. The youngster that did my toes was nice and engaging. He did good. A little color on the skin on a couple toes but if I noticed he would've taken that off. I went in with a gift card to get my pedicure. They took that card and said I owed tax. He said it's $8. for tax. I gave him my bank card and I left. Yesterday I noticed I was charged $150. On my card. I called him yesterday and he said "no. You owed that." We argued and he said he would call the owner and call me right back. He didn't. I called several more times and he wouldn't talk to me. I called my bank and told them. Now they are investigating. The bank said this is not the first time they have done this to people. I called back today two times asking for the owner. He said "we have no owner." I said let me talk to the owner. He hung up. I'm beyond angry!!!!!!! I wonder how this business would react if we all just called them and demanded refund every time someone posted it. This is the phone number he sent me. He has been texting me back and forth. I am unbelievably disappointed in the service I received today. I repeatedly asked for things done to my nails, and the guy doing them blatantly ignored me. He never said "okay" or even responded; he was completely silent. He fixed one thing, which was the length, and they still were shorter than I asked them to be. My fingers are covered in the acrylic and the polish, and he cut me several times with the drill. I also was (in my opinion) extremely overcharged. I have never paid more than $45 for a full set of nails, and I paid $57. I left the place in tears because I was so upset and felt like I was treated so poorly. Worst nail salon I've ever been to! They way over charged me on a day I was supposed to get a free service. I've gone to them several times, enough to full my punch card. I was supposed to earn a free service costing a minimum of 28 dollars. I got a regular manicure and eyebrow and lip waxing. She charged me 74 dollars for this service. According to their website the Mami was 40 and the lib and eyebrows were 14. So where the 74 dollars came from, I have no idea! Then when I handed her my free service card, she only took 20 dollars off the price! After I've gone in there 8 or 9 times. Spending close to a 1000 dollars. We paid $60 for our acrylic sets, mine came off without too much of a fuss but my sister had to go to a completely different nail salon to get them removed. The acrylics bruised her nails and the nail technicians shook their head at it. They could not BELIEVE the quality of them. My nails are less bruised but hers were done so poorly. Her nail tore in half and bled everywhere. I heard from a friend that they were amazing and we trusted her. My sister and I will never be returning. They did a good job and I really like my nails. The place is nice and I'm happy with the quality. Best place in Durant, in my opinion. The place isn't anything special overall, but good. My sister and I got nails done and pedicures. I don't think our manicures are absolutely perfect, but they are pretty dang good, and I think they will last for a good while. The pedicures were so relaxing too. I almost fell asleep in the massage chair it was so good. This was a horrible nail job. People were nice but the guy that did my nails did a horrible job. This was suppose to be dipping and he painted the clear on and then scooped the powder and plopped it on top of my nails. Not dipped. They looked like round bubbles on my nails. I asked for white French manicure and did not want the pink and they are pink. They don't look normal or natural to me. The lady at the front was real nice. I told him thank you and he ignored me. I went in to get a simple manicure because my cuticles get so dry and peel back and look awful. I told him more than once that was my main concern. They still look the same as I did when I walked in. Then I got a pedicure, which was great. But I showed him a picture of exactly how I wanted my toenails painted and he said, oh I can do that. Then when it comes time to paint them, they aren't the flat nail polish that I wanted and the pink color is completely different. After telling him what I wanted he proceeded to tell me what was better for me, sat me down and told the guy to put dip on my nails. Which came out pretty he just over filed since they seem to be super thin but I'll deal. My husband and I asked for quick pedicures we were in a hurry so chose the cheapest. $22 for women and $33 for men idk why because they don't even need to polish Well walked up to pay and the guy was REAL QUICK with his calculator. Added everything up and said $95 exhausted from a night out we paid $115 tips included. On the way home through Texas I was still dumb founded by what the total was and that guy straight up robed us! I don't mind paying what's due if I agree to a price but that front desk guy is shady!!! He probably got made because when he came over to check on guy doing my nails he told him why aren't you doing powder dip!, the guy replied because she just wanted a gel fill, he seemed irritated. I have gone here twice to get a manicure, and the first time was okay. I felt like they were in a hurry, which affected the quality of the nails. I get it, it was 1h 30min before closing, and you wanna get done before closing time but cmon. You're a business, you know you have to always give quality even close to closing time. Anyway, I didn't mind it as much since they did an okay job. I decided to give them a second chance and this time went during the day, and it was a mistake! The person who did my nails, was way too rough on my hands and put the acrylic tips too high up on my nails, and not too many layers of the dip powder. My only complaint is that I asked for rounded nails rather than squared, but it was more my fault, I should have spoken up when he asked me if they were okay.
