Awful experience, bad management, doesn't stand behind bad work. They want your money not your satisfaction. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Since I requested a mani/pedi, I asked for the manicure to be done first, so my fingernails could dry during the pedicure. Instead, they started with the pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure did not take the time to file my nails smooth, even though I stated that was important to me. As a result, part of a nail and polish chipped off soon after the pedicure. Staff wanted to start my manicure in the chair while my pedicure was being finished. That looked uncomfortable, so I requested to sit at the (empty) manicure table. Despite supervision and repeated instructions from another nail tech, the younger woman who did the basic manicure did not shape my fingernails properly or smoothly. Where to start. Took 3 hours for a gel manicure and two pedicures. Had someone start taking off my gel on my hands during my pedicure only to be told to stop by the owner and start on someone else that walked in instead. Leaving me with my hands soaking in alcohol for the next hour. The pedicures were very lack luster and not much of a massage. The manicure was the worst part. Pretty sure the owner was the one who did mine and she would start and stop every 10 mins to do something else. She didn't say one word to me: She tore my cuticles and skin up when buffing and filing. She did not clean up my nails during painting color (red polish) on them. When the service was all said and done I had gel cured all over my fingers. All she did was use her nail to get the excess polish off that was everywhere. Which was red and stained my finger tips. Not even 3 days later my WHOLE GEL NAIL POPPED OFF. Then a few days later the next gel nail popped off.... On top of them falling off when they're gel? They are bubbling and uneven and each nail is a different red considering they didn't get the same number of even coats. Overpriced and will never go back read more

Recently moved to area and have tried multiple other nail salons. This one has been my favorite so far! Quick and great quality work :)

I thought I found my new nail salon. Every time I find a good one, they change management or the staff changes and it goes downhill. This was my 8th visit to Lotus Nail Bar, not my first. It is close to my home and until now we've had such good service and I expected the same this visit. Usually, I go get my nails done and my husband and son come with me and they get a pedicure. Someone different did my nails than I've ever had. I believe her name was Kim. When she started, first she told me I needed to do the Powder dip because it would be better for my nails and most of their clients do the dip powder and why wouldn't I try it. I said no, I just wanted a fill. Then she started to do my nails and she said they were old and I needed them replaced. I told her no, I just had a new set right before Christmas. Well she continued to pry off my nails with a nail tip, which really hurt and then put a new set on anyways. I should have gotten up and walked out as soon as she came in because she wasn't happy and didn't even say hello. She was out and someone made a phone call to her and she had to come back in the shop from someplace. She threw her bag down and started my nails. So, I gave this review a two because she did a good job. I like my nails. However, when I got to the register they were going to charge me $65. I usually pay $35. She charged me to remove my gel.. well how else would she fill them. No one has ever charged me to remove the gel when I get an acrylic fill. Then charged me for a full set after I told her no and she continued to do it anyways. The lady at the front took $10 off which I appreciate, but I really don't like being taken advantage of. When I complained about the price, she lied to the lady at the front and said I told her to put a new set on. I will put up with a lot and don't complain often, but I will not be quiet when someone rips me off. read more

The manicurist placed my hands in cold water for one minute. Then, she trimmed my cuticles in a rough manner. No hot towel was given, as noted on their website. The manicure was fast and furious. The worst part was that they charged me $20, when their website says $15. I will not be going back to this salon. Poor service and high prices just don't match. read more

Rude Rude Rude. This shop talks negatively about their customers right in front of them assuming the customer only speaks English. I speak 4 languages. I'm Asian, and they assumed I wasn't Vietnamese. Diana was the nail tech assigned to me. I asked her not to use the drill on my feet to remove gel polish because it hurts me. I told her another easy technique to use since I grew up with my parents owning nail shops and I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I know the short cuts these nail techs like to take to get you in and out quickly compromising quality and your nail health. Diana then started speaking Vietnamese to the workers saying things about me she didn't have the audacity to say to my face in English. I immediately expressed how uncomfortable I was. The gentleman owner asked me what's wrong. I told him, "I don't appreciate her attitude, I understood everything she said about me, it's incredibly rude!" As I gathered my items to leave, Diana walked past me still saying rude things underneath her breath just loud enough for me to hear. I told her how rude she is and say it to my face in English. Silence followed throughout the shop and I walked out shaking my head. It always takes me many shops before I find the right fit. Don't enable bad behavior by allowing these nail techs to run you. If you have a request, they should honor it without attitude. Otherwise, walk out! These shops are a dime a dozen. There's always someone in the nail business that will treat you right. If you ever wonder if these nail techs are talking about you, shamefully they probably are. read more
