Both were provided by two different masseuses so that should make you feel great about any masseuse at this place! I'm honestly very critical about massages (even though I know I'm blessed to receive any ever) because great ones are hard to come by, but I have literally nothing but wonderful things to say about this place because every experience has been absolutely perfect. I'm doing my best to spread the word around to the Columbia locals that have this place in their backyard! I'm from Evanston IL so it's great to have a place I can frequent while traveling for work. Oh, I've also had a facial and it was very nice and very calming! Definitely recommend! And the business owner is a sweet person that takes the quality of work performed by the Fiddlefig staff seriously, and it shows - they're all amazing !!!

I called and was able to get an appt the same day. The massage therapist was very professional, knowledgeable, and detailed. I had an hour and a half full body massage. The room was clean, smelled good, and was relaxing. The therapist showed me several areas of my body that were sore, tender, tight, and stressed (most of which I was unaware of). I was riddled with knots but she provided myofascial release techniques to rid the trouble areas. I was also shown some additional stretching routines to help aid me at home as well. Overall, the massage and the experience was definitely beneficial, educating, and relaxing. I'm used to getting massages and you can always tell the therapists that are passionate about their skill versus the ones that treat it like "just doing another job". If you need an honest and thorough massage I'd highly suggest Higher Vibrations and Bodywork. This is a small business owner proving that quality and work ethic still prove best. I can't wait for my next massage. Disclaimer: This is an honest review of a first-time client.

5-Star Review for Andina at Lux Therapy of Columbia ***Long…read morereview warning but very necessary for review purposes*** I recently purchased a 10-session lymphatic massage package at Lux Therapy of Columbia, and my experience with Andina has been nothing short of exceptional. Like many people, I had heard of the lymphatic system but didn't have a full understanding of its purpose. After my first session, I did some research and learned just how vital it is: the lymphatic system is responsible for fluid recovery, fat absorption, and immune response. It returns excess fluid back into the bloodstream, absorbs dietary fats, and filters out pathogens--making it essential for overall wellness, especially after surgery. I chose Lux Therapy because it is located inside Dr. Rivera's office, where I recently underwent a surgical procedure. I felt confident that the post-operative communication would be streamlined, but I did not expect to receive the level of relief and improvement I experienced after just one session with Andina. Before my first massage, I was dealing with moderate discomfort from my abdominal procedure. That first session was understandably uncomfortable due to the recent surgery, but the results were immediate and almost unbelievable--my pain decreased significantly, and much of my discomfort dissipated within hours. By the second session, the experience was completely different. The massage was gentle, relaxing, and incredibly effective. We live in a world that loves "instant gratification," and shockingly, lymphatic drainage massage delivers exactly that. The reduction in swelling, tightness, and soreness has been astonishing. These massages have become an essential part of my healing process, and even after completing the mandatory post-operative sessions recommended by Dr. Rivera, I fully intend to continue scheduling additional treatments. The benefits are more than worth the investment. While I'm not a doctor, I've learned that lymphatic drainage massage can support the body in major ways--whether you're recovering from surgery, dealing with lymphedema, or simply trying to improve your overall health. The lymphatic system can become compromised for many reasons, including genetics, injury, infection, cancer treatment, or surgery. This type of massage can make a meaningful difference in restoring balance and reducing fluid retention. Andina is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She explains the process clearly, tailors each session to your needs, and creates a calming environment that supports healing. Her expertise has made a dramatic difference in my recovery, and I truly could not recommend her more. If you're considering lymphatic drainage massage--whether for wellness or post-operative care--Lux Therapy of Columbia and Andina are absolutely the best choice you can make!
