He didn't miss! Jomar was wonderful. Son had scheduled for Swedish massage but I needed a firmer touch. Jomar graciously accommodated the change and provided the best massage I've had! He was very mindful of getting in tune with what I needed. There was no need for me to give him instruction after my initial request - he just worked his magic! I scheduled again with Jomar this week. He did not disappoint!! Deep tissue this time was perfect. I was feeling a little under the weather before my appointment, so I called to make sure it was OK if I still came in. I was encouraged to still come in since I wasn't contagious. Best decision! Jomar is the best!

(This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday at the Conrad Spa. This spa is really the only full…read moreservice spa in town, meaning there is a pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, along with showers and all of the appropriate toiletries. We were prompted greeted by Tina and shown around the spa and to our lockers. In the ladies locker room area, there are showers, a sauna, and a steam room. We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.

The massage session was very relaxing and helped me unwind after a long day. The therapist was…read moreattentive and adjusted the pressure to my needs, especially in the back area. I felt a noticeable improvement afterward. The only small downside was that the room felt slightly cool at times.

I was able to get in for a $45 evening appt. before prices changed & after the change for a sudden morning $60 massage. Both were for 80 minutes. I have had a full body massage, a full facial and a back facial completed here. Their website is great for looking up all their services, prices and hours. You must call to schedule an appointment. Once you arrive, you fill out a form about your health and skin. Then wait for your student to come and call your name. Then, the two of you will go over your health screen, allergies and concerns. They take you back to the main room. Massages are done on one side of the hallway, and esthetician services are done on the other. No matter the service you get done, you are taken to a "room" which is just divided by curtains on all sides. Everyone speaks in low volume, as to not disturb the other customers. The student will take you to your "room" and explain what will happen. Then, they leave and give you privacy to undress, as needed for the service. After the service is complete, and you redress, the student walks you back out to the lobby. You are encouraged to give them constructive feedback that will help in their education. If you don't feel comfortable telling them directly, there is a written survey you can fill out. Tips are not required, but if you do want to tip, it must be done in cash directly to the student.

The back massage was good but then I asked him if he could do my neck a little bit as I had some tension and he proceed to DESTROY me. I was literally with my shoulders up to my neck and he did not stop. I was breathing super loud like I was in pain and he kept going. I did him a thumb up sign like it's good you can stop but he did not get it. He did not speak a work of English like I get it I'm an immigrant too but if you work in a massage place you should understand when the client tells you "softer" or "it's enough, you can stop". He was not understanding anything. I had to grab his wrist mid massage for him to stop my neck. Now I can't even attached my hair in a ponytail because it is so tender. I could not relax at all. It was a really tough massage lol. We paid $120 cash as it is cheaper than if you pay by card ($130). And still we were requested to pay tips even though I did not like my massage. I understand the massage is at a decent price already but does that mean you have to beat up your client? And I'm not soft like I was an athlete I do like strong massage but he messed me up.
