I should've listen to that little voice in my head that warned me but I didn't so hear is my tale... Called about 11am to inquire about their prices and if it mattered if I bought the Groupon. The person who picked up the phone answered so rudely and casually ("Yeah?!") I thought I had called an individual versus a business. I inquired what their price was for the wax and if the Groupon price was different-this person seemed confused and passed the phone to another person who said buy the Groupon and call back for an appointment time. At this point I looked at my own wax kit with thoughts of doing it myself because I felt like they sound like a hot mess. Then I talked myself into giving this place a chance bought the Groupon and made the appointment. I arrived- they were friendly and showed me to the room. They used the chocolate wax. The wax was lukewarm which made me wonder if this was going to be a success or a bust. Long story short- this is the worst wax I've gotten. When the woman deemed herself done she sprays me with copious amounts of baby oil and tells me to clean myself out because I still have wax. Sound weird to you? It did to me- I was like is this a new method? Then she explained to me that she couldn't get all the wax off of hair off so I had wax all in my lady part- and I mean all up in there!!! Also for those who are wondering the hair was not too long or too short- it was the Goldilocks standard of length for a successful wax(and I've actually been to Brasil for the official Brazilian wax so I consider myself to know a thing or two in this area). Overall, I will never go back here! This was a terrible experience and I don't recommend this place to anyone for waxing. I should stayed home and did a better job instead of throwing my money away!

I picked up a sample of their face soap which comes in a small cloth pouch with shavings of the soap. They also had Seed face oil samples. I asked the shop clerk how to use. She explained that it goes on before moisturizer. I asked her about the Jao brand. Turns out it's a family business. If I recall correctly its her mom's friend and father was a pharmacist. They developed the Jao brand themselves. My purchases included a handcreme with another brand name and this is by another member of the family. Support local businesses! Shop Small!
