With that amount of work, there were a few anomalies that cropped up, but they were resolved to our satisfaction. Good team, good work - give them a call.

We never saw the owner Leon prior to the day the cement was poured So obviously he did not know what we wanted and didn't care. The concrete is riddled with cracks, unevenly cut, and stains he promised would fade. the stains are still visible one year later. Leon abandoned leftover tiles and never even came back to finish the job. It's clear that they don't stand by their promises or their quality at all. This company was responsive, coming out within an hour of my contacting them to look at my yard and provide me a quote. Not only did he come out the very next day to do it when he had a cancellation, but he did it for $3,000 less than the other company had quoted me. Stamped concrete area in our photos is 17x20 feet with an 11.5x7 foot grill area off shoot. His crew was extremely efficient, job start to finish was two days. They even made sure no concrete was on my fence from the pour and that the dirt filled in around the edges of the pad. I am extremely happy with this company and the beautiful stamped pad they put in and will be contacting them for any concrete we need in the future.

We met Chris Rupp at the Virginia Beach Garden Expo at the Convention Center. This past February…read morewhere the incredible display they had constructed stopped us in our tracks. We had no idea what to do with our blank space of a back yard (we had purchased a new build five years earlier) but after meeting and talking with Chris for a bit we made an appointment to have him come to our home as see what he might suggest. He came out to our home and within a few days had returned with a schematic that showed us his design for a beautiful, functional patio area that we loved. When you work with contractors you hope for professionalism, attention to detail and quality workmanship, but we had never seen or experienced the kind of first rate experience that would come along with hiring Chris and Dominion Pavers to create our amazing outdoor space. We had been given an initial start date of early to mid June but we were held up by one of the wettest Mays we've ever experienced here in Virginia Beach, which understandably caused a bit of a backlog for them. However, they began work just a week beyond the initial start date estimate given to us a few months earlier. Chris kept us informed of postponements and in the loop the whole time. He was always accessible via email (my chosen form of communication) and responded quickly to every one throughout the time leading up to and during the construction phase. The speed with which his team worked was truly astounding. In two and a half days' time our oasis was complete with stunning stone bench/walls, a glorious rectangular fire pit and a beautifully patterned patio with a "stone rug" area which is currently awaiting the construction of a pergola (already in progress). Chris and his team worked seamlessly with the electricians (our beautiful stone benches are complete with soft accent lighting) and with the team who is constructing the pergola, coordinating and scheduling their people to complete the work while wiring and the installation of posts and other required elements was done. Throughout those three days of construction Chris would come by several times during the day to check the progress of his team and the quality of their work which was absolutely first rate. I had never seen a team work so hard or accomplish so much in so little time...it was truly jaw-dropping! We were also surprised to see that Chris was not the only person to check on the work being done in our backyard. There were two other reps from Dominion Pavers who showed up at our site multiple times to inspect the incredible progress. What an impressive group from Dominion Pavers! Hiring Chris Rupp and the folks at Dominion Pavers was one of the best decisions we could have made to transform our home. He had the experience, the vision and the team to turn an unimagined dream into reality. One of the nicest, professional, approachable gentlemen we've ever had the pleasure of working with...and we UNHESITATINGLY recommend him and the folks from Dominion Pavers to everyone. I cannot stress enough that this was a class act from first handshake to the completion of their incredibly fine work. If you choose Chris Rupp and Dominion Pavers as your contractor, you have selected the best. Period. (And, you're welcome!)
