That 50 for 50% off deal does not help. Buy 50 or more back issues and get it 50% off! Being the comic crack addict I am, I can easily do 50. Prices are competitive, didn't see anything overpriced. Staff is super friendly, but if you come in asking for maps or puzzles be prepared to be hit on the head. I love how their name badges are nicknames like Boomhauer and Overlord. Address them by those names to give em a smile. Large variety of comics both old and current. There are action figures n games too but I didn't pay much attention to them. Very spacious. Supplies are well priced and in good variety.

Nobody is there. from the window it looked dirty, with piles of stuff. Very unprofessional and not run in a responsible way. Maybe they're going out of business.

Another place I can't believe I haven't reviewed…read more I want to say my first visit here was in 2016. At the time I lived in Columbus and was in the Ironton/Portsmouth area to see family and had randomly found this spot at the mall. Over the years I had visited both locations mall and the downtown Ashland location shortly after it opened. It's been a few years since I've been in as I now live 4.5 hours away compared to 2.5, but was in the area on Wednesday. I had stopped in and browsed and was even more impressed with my finds this trip in addition to what I've found over the years. They have everything from Kenner Star Wars to Han Soloflex POTF 90s Star Wars to MOTU to Thundercats to Power Rangers to Strawberry Shortcake & Movie Maniacs. Staff is great and prices are fair. Im not the only one who has been treated in such a way if you look at his goigle reviews he has a habit of bashing his customers. On top of this being one of many failed locations. His positive reviews are made from different locations with different pictures that do not accurately depict his shop. He buys cards but super undercuts you as a customer for example you have a card worth $40 he will only offer you $10 in store or $1.25 cash whitch is no value at all he actively rips people off as well as treats potential customers and customers like they are uneducated, stupid, badicly like he knows everything and you know nothing. However, a great deal of disorganization is found quickly, and if you're there for anything else, it is behind the counter and cannot be analyzed further without waiting in line (the same line as the checkout) to ask about anything.
