This place is ok. Selection is all over the place. Lots of reissues and very few original vinyl. I found some good vinyl though.

Nice little shop in WV. Didn't mind my visit at all. The gentleman behind the counter was helpful…read moreand talkative. The organization of the shop is a bit random. Don't like that they don't have any dividers in the vinyl or band call-outs. Makes it hard to find what I'm looking for. Pricing is a little all over the place. It's either really high or marked down decently. I did walk away with a few albums that I had wanted. Overall I was pleased but probably wouldn't go out of my way to make the trip again.

I believe this is Huntington's only record shop. A large selection of CDs and DVDs up front and a…read morelarge amount of vinyl in the back. For the vinyl they have a small selection of new on the left and a much larger used selection going back from there and wrapping over to the right side of the store. None of the records are grouped by genre, just by new or used. In the center section is Record Store Day releases, along with boxes of unmarked used vinyl (these boxes are unalphabetized I believe). And then along the floor on the walls are even more records. I'm guessing these are the $1 variety. The strangest thing about their used selection is the sheer number of the same release they will stock. For instance they may have 20 or more copies of a popular Pat Benetar record. And the 20 copies might range in price from $3.98 to $9.98. There might even be an original still sealed copy in the mix but it's $7.98. It gives me the impression that the records are haphazardly and arbitrarily priced. Most of the used records skew expensive but with the arbitrary pricing it's certainly possible to find a good deal or two. I certainly did. And I also successfully haggled with the worker for two I wanted but were overpriced. All in all this place is worth a stop if you're hopelessly addicted to vinyl like me and find yourself in town.

This review is really about s GameStop online order I placed on Cyber Monday for the PS4 Spiderman…read morebundle for $199.00. After waiting until 12:01, I successfully placed my order and received a confirmation email and order number. After 8 days of checking the order status daily and seeing no activity on the order, I attempted to call customer service. The recording said the call volumes were high and asked if I wanted to leave a number for them to call me back. I did. About an hour later they called but, when I answered, they still had me on hold. Thirty minutes later, to the exact minute, they disconnected my call. I decided to go to my local GameStop for help. The employees were super nice and initially tried to be helpful by calling their own customer service number. After the clerk waited unanswered on hold for thirty minutes I asked if I could leave my number so she could call me back. 20 minutes later she called to say that she couldn't do anything about my online order but that the manager would sell me a similar bundle for $100.00 more and give me a $50.00 store card. I said no thank you and hung up. When I got home, my original order number no longer existed and all I got was an error message that no such order ever existed. I have the printed copy of my order that was received and confirmed on November 26 and get it now has been conveniently deleted by Gamestop. My advice to anyone looking to buy gaming equipment is to buy it ANYWHERE but GameStop online. I gave my order and the extra $100.00 I had to pay to Walmart! I will NEVER EVER shop at Gamestop again and I plan to tell as many people as possible about my poor customer experience.

It's a cute little used book store in a small strip mall off Blizzard Dr. There are three rooms to…read morethe store, with genre fiction in the first room, children & YA in the next room, and non-fiction/literature in the last. The general fiction leans heavily towards the Christian fiction and related genres, but there was some contemporary fiction like Saramago and DFW (I almost bought a copy of "Infinite Jest," but really, when am I going to have time to reread that?). Their sci-fi and fantasy collection wasn't too bad either. Prices were pretty good (the aforementioned DFW was listed at $7, and sci-fi paperbacks between $2-4). The proprietor let us know that everything is catalogued, so you could inquire about a particular title if you were looking for something specific. It looks like they also buy used books, which is good to know. They do play religious music in the store, but they also have Bible verses posted in the window, so I suppose that's fair warning.
