So how grateful I am to businesses like Bubbles and Bows who bring the service to the familiarity of our own front yard and single-mindedly focus on one pup at a time. I've used Deborah and her service twice and been so very pleased both times. Our dog is one hairy rescued German Shepherd with hip dysplasia and eyesight challenges and she is an anxious mess like her mom. Even though she hates being groomed, she is always quick to calm and be happy again when it's over with Bubbles and Bows, which is a dramatic improvement from the nailscraping refusal to leave the car when we've arrived at a couple other grooming places and the hour-long shakes and hiding (firework style) following. I believe her behavior before and after service shows that she is treated with care by Deborah and her staff, and that gives me relief and peace of mind. During the call, however, I could hear a dog crying or barking loudly in the background, and the gentleman yelled at the dog "SHUT UP" while still on the phone with me. My appointment time was changed without confirmation, and even then I was flexible and offered to reschedule for another day. I was then told to still bring my dog in at the original time, only to receive unprofessional and accusatory messages afterward. Instead of acknowledging the scheduling miscommunication, the follow-up communication focused on explaining internal frustrations, including staffing limitations and having to come in on a day off, which was implied to be my responsibility. I also found the continued back-and-forth messages unnecessary and unprofessional rather than focused on resolving the issue respectfully. While the grooming work was great, the communication experience was not. Based on that, I chose not to return. Sharing this for others who value clear scheduling, flexibility, and professional communication.

Years ago I remember it was only $45, but, I will still keep coming back here just for him. Only tricky part is finding the place. Even after coming here for years, I still need Google maps because I take the wrong turns sometimes. For appointments, it's helpful to be flexible. Usually they don't take same day grooming due to being booked. Appointments typically are weeks out, especially in the warmer months.
