I ordered from this restaurant via Grubhub because my normal go to was closed on Sundays. The menu was extensive and had plenty to choose from. Delivery to speedy, but for some reason, the food was lukewarm and was a little on the bland side. We also asked for no cheese/dairy on one of the burritos and it came smothered with cheese and sour cream. The guacamole also had cheese on it, but it did not specify that on the menu. read more

Ordered ahead, tacos were ready upon arrival. The salsa verde was choice. Tacos were great. Will be going back

I ordered 9 steak tacos and the steak had no flavor. It's probably not even marinated or anything. The corn tortilla tasted like the cheapest kind of tortilla you can get. It tasted like cardboard with no flavor of corn. Even the cilantro and onions didn't taste fresh. The radish definitely wasn't and even the lime was dry. read more

Food is delicious and it's a great environment. I work at the school down the street from time to time and this was the perfect lunch location. Remember it's *cash only read more

Los Tacos - Chicken quesadilla and beef taco- ohh so fresh! - Mexican Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Damn good tacos, pretty good prices. Nice environment. Definitely stop in if you're craving tacos.

I ordered from Los Tacos through GrubHub, very speedy delivery! I first I thought I had found a new favorite spot, and everything tasted authentic to me, but it wasn't a family hit. The queso fundido isn't a nice creamy dip with chips that we're used to, it was a hard glob of cheese that needed to be cut with a knife to be eaten with soft tortillas. Kids wouldn't even try the tacos and usually they love tacos! Still giving 4 stars because it was the quickest GrubHub I've ever gotten, and I think those with a taste for real Mexican street food would like it! read more

Los Tacos - Queso fundido (definitely not choriqueso dip) - Mexican Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

My family and I absolutely love this place. Their food is delicious authentic Mexican food and they have excellent costumer service. Tonight I got the carne asada and it was SO good. It came with rice, salad, and refried beans. I also got freshly made horchata which is my favorite. I could seriously eat here everyday. read more

I always thought I'd have to head into the Center City area of Philly to get some quality Mexican food but after finding out about this place, I'm eating Mexican on a more regular basis ... and that's always a plus :) My favorites are the tacos al pastor and the chicken quesadilla but I think this place just serves great authentic Mexican altogether. And the fact that it's a small, local business serving the Olney neighborhood reminds me of the community that it serves food in. read more

Ordered this for the first time while in philly at a friends house. I can't give it five stars because the food was just okay. The steak was kind of rough on the tacos but I did like the chicken tacos. I also ordered sides of sour but they never came. I ordered guac which was good but covered in pineapples, I've never seen guac like that. The chicken quesadilla was also not cut and very dry. The biggest issue was we paid 80$ for food and did a 10$ for delivery and the food was suppose to be there in 30 minutes but it took like an 1:15 minutes plus the delivery driver got lost and went to the wrong address. Please be advised that they do not put cheese on tacos. read more

Since my last experience at this place, I still haven't set foot in this place. Here's my review from 2 mo ago on google... -This place was my favorite until now. I ordered 2 tacos with just onion and cilantro, when the waitress brought me my food, it had lettuce tomato cheese and cream (all of which I did not want!) she took it back to the cook and the three of them huddled around my plate in a way that made me suspicious. I brushed off my suspicion because I wasn't that "difficult " customer that was rude about it...she knew there was a mistake and said she'd make it right. After they made my order again, they clearly did something to my food and were all looking at me anxiously waiting to watch me take a bite. Hmm, maybe the next time you mess with someone's meal try not to be so obvious about it! Unfortunately I will no longer be eating here.- I'm still sad about this experience. read more

I'm so happy with the food here. I'm from California so I'm picky when it comes to Mexican food. This restaurant has legit Mexican food and it's so tasty. So far I've had their carne asada tacos and their carne asada platter with rice beans and tortillas. Both very great choices. read more

Very rude when trying to place an order on the phone. It takes awhile if you order when you arrive so I tried to call in my order. I spoke to three different people. They did not have what I wanted so the man simply said "no" and hung up on me. read more

I've called about 5 times & they don't pick up. Their hours claim to be everyday from 10am-9pm. Its now 7pm & no answer.

So far this has been the best Mexican food I have had on the east coast! The tortillas are awesome and the salsa is hot!! I had a pollo burrito and it was fantastic. Even though it's out of the way, I'll be making my way back. Very generous with their limes as well. read more

I'm only upset that I am just finding this North Philly gem now. My husband found this place on uber eats. We've ordered several times and have never been disappointed. Today we finally went to Los Tacos instead of ordering and it was so worth it. He ordered Tacos de la Hambre and I had Fish Tacos, both fresh and amazing. I love the queso blanco crumbles in the guacamole. The employees are Spanish speaking and our Spanish is quite broken but we didn't have any issues. I wish I had taken pictures but will remember the next time around. The pricing is fair and affordable. We'll definitely be returning often. Highly Recommend! read more

not what it used to be. This place was a mecca for all things Mexican but has fell short by the waist side the food clearly does not taste the same as it was when they first opened up. You can go to so many other better places now around the city. I would not recommend this place for dinner or take out. The foos quality has gone down significantly. read more

Not going to lie food is pretty good, but service is horrible and if you walk in to place an order be ready to wait atleast 35 min. I called to place my order spoke to a man then asked for my total and when I arrived a women charged me double what he had said and she said no one knew who I had spoked with, since everyone takes orders and there was only 4 of them? Anyways not sure if I will go back. I hate bad service. read more

The service was good and fast my food was ready when I got there. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the food, it was pretty but it was flavorless. They give you a lot of lettuce and it just was a flavorless taco. I kinda expected more from a taco place. read more

This place has done DOWNHILL since the original owner a lady I called Maria. She was amazing. The food tasted wonderful however since she's left prices have INCREASED. The food is so-so to just outright TERRIBLE!!! This is sad this place was my favorite of all time however it's not very good. Too expensive and poor service. read more

Right outside the front door, a man asked us for change. We said we didn't have any and walked inside. The man actually followed us in and walked up on us. You could clearly tell we weren't together and not a single employee asked what was going on. I find it hard to believe this is the first time they have seen this man asking their customers for money. That didn't sit well with me. It was 8:30pm on a Friday evening. Nobody greeted us inside the restaurant, nobody seated us. So we sat down at a table. There was only a couple of customers at 1 table so I don't understand the lack of hospitality. After a couple of minutes a waiter came to us and he gave us chips and salsa and a menu. He told us we had to order by 8:40pm because they were closing. At this point, we each had eaten 1 stale chip. It seriously tasted like it had been sitting out all day (or for days). We decided not to eat there. The entire vibe wasn't good and we went elsewhere that had better service. We won't be back. read more

Eat here fairly regularly. Any dish with meat is pretty good, but they don't really have vegetarian options / their idea of veggies is weak. Best mole sauce I've had in a while. Unfort. once, we found a pretty long/crazy hair in our takeout. Other times we have ate in and had good service. read more

This place is wonderful! Amazing tacos, the most authentic I've had in this city. Definitely pricey (tacos usually run you about $3 each), but they're big! They use the big corn tortillas not the smaller ones. The restaurant is clean, don't judge the restaurant by the exterior! I ordered the al pastor, asada, and carnitas tacos along with a tall glass of Horchata! Delicious. read more

All good things must come to a end! We visited on August 9, 2016 and after coming here for years, I'm sad to say due to All new staff and a change in the menu...we will Not be coming back! The food was Horrible! The steak before was So good you could cut it with a butter knife! Now...you have to chew like a cow just to swallow! You use to get great portions with the steak platter. Now they've add a salad with One sad looking tomato which cut down on the rice/beans and steak portion. BTW no salad dressing for the salad. And you Only get just 2 soft tortilla shells instead of a basket of at least 5 warm ones. Even my children were disappointed! Only thing that was still the same and ok was the can of Coca-Cola. The owners should have Never gotten rid of the cook. Or At Least had a copy of the recipes, duh! read more

Don't waste your money coming to this restaurant!! Food USED to be good. Now food is nasty, expensive, not worth it ! WORST MEXICAN FOOD!

By far my favorite taco spot in all the land. The Al Pastor Tacos are the best, the chips and dip are great! And of course washing it all down with a Jarrito is the best. There Hawaiian sandwich is straight bananas. I highly recommend it. Only down side, CASH only. read more

I visited Los Tacos express at the PPL Park During the Philadelphia Union Game, my experience was amazing. Fresh Food, at the best price and without making the 20 minutes lane that you usually have to make inside the stadium just to get a cold hot dog. Los Tacos - They're not greedy with their meat I'll tell you that lol it's all hidden under the yummy lettuce - Mexican Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This used to be a good spot. They changed their corn tortillas to a nasty/smaller one (probably cheaper) and their burritos used to be fat.. Now it's so skinny. read more

My wife and I each got three of the Los Tacos Express soft tacos at PPL Park Saturday evening prior to the match. The tacos were made fresh and stuffed with shredded chicken, marinated beef and tender pork with all of the fixin's. Top quality and full of authentic Mexican flavors. I was completely satisfied with the outstanding value and quantity! The staff were very friendly and offered great service to each of their customers! I will be trying some more soft tacos and other specialties this upcoming Saturday before the match against the Seattle Sounders! Outstanding eating experience at a great venue indeed! Gracias Los Tacos Express! read more

A good 5th street staple. I've had their bistec platter and chicken tacos. Both were excellent, and they actually give you Romaine, not bloody Iceberg lettuce, in your side salad. The only downside is that they don't take credit, but this is the hood and my people don't have credit. read more

Amazing authentic Mexican food. I've been eating here since I was a kid and despite visiting other spots, I always find may way back to Los tacos. A dinner for two will cost you around 40 bucks including drinks. * they accept CASH ONLY* The customer service was non existent. We went here because it had decent stars on yelp. I should have read the reviews closer. The food was decent, but the welcoming service , which they didn't have killed the experience completely. It's not even that clear that the place exist because of the store front setup . After begging for the check we paid and left. I will not return. read more

Great chicken and steak tacos! Orchata drink is amazing. The service is very good. Only drawback is that the place is on the hood.

the only good thing about our entire dinner was the refried beans and the coca cola. The taco shells were soggy, they got enchiladas totally terrible-wrong, and the meat was super fatty and definitely not beef like we ordered. Definitely not going here ever again. read more
