This is our favorite restaurant when we visit our hometown of Jasper Al. I always look forward to their food.

I'm pretty picky about Mexican food and prefer an authentic (less cheese, more well seasoned meat and veggies) menu BUT I happened to be in Jasper spending some time at the lake and we made our way to Los Reyes. It had a busy enjoyable vibe with hard working people - food was very tasty. I had the Al Pasteur quesadilla which was full of favor and a house margarita. read more

Super sweet man who owns it. He brought my food to me to my car. I got a chicken torta. I just moved here and I am disappointed that they don't have traditional shredded beef and instead use hamburger. So I went with chicken. I got grilled and I will be back for another very soon. I also liked how clean their restaurant and parking area was. Makes me feel better about my food when everything is clean. read more

Great place! Love the variety and taste of the food! Service is exceptional and fast. Atmosphere is comfortable and simple.

I will never be eating here again. i ordered chicken tacos and they used shredded chicken instead of grilled chicken so i asked them to fix it. Tacos wasn't even good and ended up getting food poisoning from their chicken. had to go to doctor to get treated. read more

Why are you putting sauce in plastic containers for people that are dining in? Is the chicken in the fajitas supposed to be cut smaller than the vegetables? Is the chicken supposed to be overcooked, almost crispy, and dry because they are cut so small? If so, then you nailed it. I might try this restaurant again, but I won't get the chicken fajitas. read more

Food tastes okay. I realized the cup that used to serve me has sticky grime and a hair on the cup. For sure the staff doesn't care serving dirty food and utensils. I got sick to my stomach all night and use the bathroom.I will not come back again for sure. read more

Great food, service and atmosphere! Friendly staff who remember and acknowledge you! Television monitors are not too distracting.

Great food! Great place. In downtown area!!' Yes is wondètful as was the cheese dip! The sweet was cold and excellent! read more

Late lunch with co workers. Started with the chips and salsa. Chips good, salsa a little thin and not much flavor. I ordered the chicken fajitas. It came out sizzling. Hot and fresh. The chicken had very little flavor. Not enough spice. Good but just not seasoned. My coworkers enjoyed their food also. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not picking the food apart, it's just that the food was good, not great. It is not a joke, but I have started comparing my favorite Mexican entrée, fajitas to that national chain that specializes in them. The chain starts with a C. As you can see my standard isn't extreme, but I certainly think my rating is fair. I forgot to take a photo. I did find the restaurant to be cleaned and very well-maintained. The staff was very attentive he did a good job. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Went here while traveling through and by far the worst service and food mexican wise i've ever had. food was bland, it was really loud, overpriced for store bought salsa . the locals really need to venture out to other places for better food! read more

Nice place decent food , but nothing stood out except for the service , it was top notch. It's everyday rice beans ground meat and tacos tortillas. Great location read more

We visit Los Reyes in Sumiton often but have always seen this one in Jasper so I suggested to my husband that we try it on Saturday Aug 10, 2019 for the first time. We had a wait time of approximately 15 min which wasn't bad for a restaurant on a Saturday evening. Our server was friendly and attentive. We always order our drinks and appetizers at the same time and my husband's go to apps for a Mexican restaurant are the cheese dip and some hot sauce as in the hot tomatillo salsa. He was highly disappointed when he found out that they had run out of it at just 6pm... well actually he was not impressed that a Mexican restaurant would run out of hot sauce in the first place just tbh. He said that knocked off points for the restaurant with him. The cheese dip came out hot and delicious. The regular salsa was tasty. I also ordered a bowl of "bean soup". It is basically pintos cooked with bacon pieces, onions, and cilantro. I actually enjoyed it. Simple but good. For an entree, we decided on the Fajita Trio for Two. It is grilled onions and peppers, chicken, steak, and shrimp served with rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, shredded cheese, and warm soft flour tortillas. My husband ate his with the steak/chicken and really enjoyed it. I can't actually tolerate tortillas at this time due to a gastric bypass I had done just 4 months ago so I ate beans, a little rice, and a few pieces of shrimp. For me, the shrimp was less than great. It was bland and I didn't enjoy it without being dipped in either the cheese dip for flavor or the cup of seasoned butter that came with the Fajitas. Oh I forgot to mention that their sweet tea was some of the best I've had. It had just the right amount of sugar and wasn't weak. All in all, I would recommend trying it. We plan on giving it another shot and hopefully they will have my husband's hot sauce lol. I'm hoping to try the Sunday Buffet. Though I only eat as much as a 4 year old, that will give me a variety of things to try so I can see what sits best on my new tummy. And my husband can eat plus his favorite food is Mexican so that will be a good way to try out their best dishes. read more

On our way to Memphis, we hunted some Mexican and our stomachs took us to downtown Jasper! Great little spot. We all enjoyed our meals. I will say that my pulled chicken burrito was bland. Needed more cheese or something. My boys both got the fajitas and liked them! Enjoy! read more

First visit 5/8/19. Have seen it's always busy so my son and I gave it a shot. He got a shrimp burrito and I had Pollo Loco with the steak instead of chicken. The service was great! The food was hot and fresh when it was brought out. I had a strawberry margarita and it was great also! We will be back and I highly recommend them. read more

Overall Result: A really good restaurant to have a good time and enjoy good food. Customer service is really good. The waiter came back often without being overbearing and intrusive and the she came around at one point handing out free samples of a strawberry margarita. Notes on Interior Design: - Would be nicer if the bathroom was larger than a single use. This is understandable, however, given the limited retail availability. - The music is not overbearing and is appropriate to the casual, good-time setting. - The scratched up hardwood floor, the rough brick wall, and the black and white pics of typical Mexican buildings (as far as I know) complements the casual environment and their specialized cuisine. read more

Consider this is best restaurant in this small town that can offer. We have call to make sure the restaurant open after 9 pm since most of the restaurant close at that time around that area. The restaurant has two sections. One section have street side with no bar with romantic sit down. The other section has bar and TV which more vibrant. This is the restaurant you chose per your mode of the the day. I have ordered the prime rib steak with rice and bean. The steak came out as my order. It was delicious. They also have the happy hour beer. They have Mexican beer of your choice. The atmosphere is great. The games is on and the bar make available for drink. The service is great. The parking also easy. This restaurant is just located in the downtown with easy reach. It is close to local bar after dinner. read more

We were so hungry we didn't even take time to take a picture of the tacos. We ordered the marinated steak tacos and there were enough for us to share. Very large good amount of steak seasoning very well with cheese and lettuce. Chips are very crisp and we also had the cheese dip with them which was very good also. read more

Well was I the area looking for somewhere to eat used yelp to find it since I was out of town. When I got there it was on the square so like most town square to parking is limited. Found a spot about 1/2 block away no bad. Wasn't that the square was busy just that some spots are for others store and it a tow zone even though they are closed on Saturdays so went in the door I thought was for the restaurant but it not, that door goes into a hall for multiple businesses. Then went into restaurant and they was quick to sit me. It was a lot smaller then it looks on outside. Probably caters to the lunch crowd on the square. Ordered and food came out quick food was hot and it was good not great, kinda run of the mill taste. Never refilled my tea. Ordered the trio fajitas only reason a 4 star is Parking and getting into there, wouldn't mind trying it again and order something different Fajita Trio read more

The location and view of the square was nice, but with that said-the service and food are equally bad. I do not recommend this place in Jasper, AL. read more

The service has always been quick and food is good. Drinks are okay. The margaritas are a hit or miss just depends on who makes them.

My favorite mexican spot in jasper!! right in the center of downtown so the atmosphere is amazing, food amazing, service amazing!!! love love love!!! read more

We've ordered from here four times. The first time it was absolutely amazing. The best Mexican food we've ever had, ever. Every time after that the food has been underwhelming to say the least. We've decided not to order from here anymore sadly. I wish them the best. There's still better than the Mexican or across the street though so if you have to choose between the two definitely choose this place read more

Easily the only choice for Mexican food in Jasper! My fajitas were very good! Wife enjoyed her Polo Loco. The quality difference from other Mexican restaurants in the area were evident. Only complaint is the salsa.. was about as thick as water with very little flavor and served in a plastic cup.. queso dip was ok. read more

We wanted to try something local and unfortunately, this place did not impress us whatsoever. I ordered the chicken fajita nachos and my chicken was so bland it was making my tastebuds fall asleep. This wasn't even the worst part about my meal, it made my stomach hurt pretty bad a few hours after. I always prefer to eat locally when traveling, so if you are traveling through and are considering eating here... do yourself a favor and just go to Taco Bell. It's about the same. read more

The BEST fajita's in Jasper great atmosphere good beer on tap.

They cant get a order right to save their life,if ur getting a to go order u better pull it all out at the window and check cuz they wont fix or replace and they make any excuse not to!Go to Cabos San Lucas its way better and they care about their customers read more

Solid inexpensive quick service Americanized Mexican cuisine. Very friendly server. One of my coworkers spilled his salsa all over the table and she wasn't even bothered. She compared the event to cleaning up after her two yr old smiled and cleaned it up. Large menu. I went pollo con arroz. Large plate of rice topped with grilled chicken served with a cup of cheese dip. It wasn't arroz con pollo which is more like paella. Theirs was was simple but good. I like that hey give each diner their own individual salsa. Good value. Good portion. Nice atmosphere. read more

Agringado But reasonable and clean. It's a little weird to have the restaurant split into two, but we found a table straight away. The menu wasn't as expansive as I would have expected. We both enjoyed our dishes, and they were served hot and quickly (Shrimp Burrito and Arroz con Pollo). It's easy to see how this place is popular among the locals. Not vegetarian/ vegan/ GFree friendly read more
