always a good meal with great service. couldn't be happier. i managed to sum it up in 45 character but needed 85, so here they are.

it was our first time coming to this location. we've gone to the one in santa rosa which was great and was expecting the same here. unfortunately our visit wasn't the greatest. we came in during cinco de mayo so it was expected to be busy but we were seated within 15 minutes. our server took a while but eventually got our order in. they have a pretty small menu but i ordered the steak fiesta bowl and the chicken street tacos. was almost $18 for my bowl and $14 for the tacos. there's an old tell saying that if your tacos come in those metal taco holders, they're about to be horrible! both meats were dry and didn't have any real depth of flavor. i could've gone to chipotle for better quality and for cheaper and left more full. our impression of this location wasn't the greatest but the restaurant decor was great, service was okay despite being super busy, and one thing that did taste good was chips/salsa and the beer! we unfortunately won't be going back to this location. the one in santa rosa beach is much better. read more

The Famous Chimichanga shredded chicken was so tough, couldn't eat it. Wasted price of that meal. We were placed on the back wall, apparently by the kitchen because the booming of their music was so loud it shook the wall by us. We thought it was the AC, but waiter said no it was from the kitchen! But he didn't have them adjust it or move their music box. Don't sit on the back wall. And never order chicken because that's not the first time we have had that issue. read more

Terrible service. Ordered the fajita burrito and the onions and peppers were raw, food was only warm on both our orders.

They don't tell you they charge extra PER ITEM if you pay with a card!!!! So my steak was $20.99 but when you pay with card it's $21.83!!!! And each item is charged extra PER ITEM!!!! They lost our busines!!!! There is NO notice of these charges either!!! read more

Our waitress Jazmina (J) was fabulous! Our food was not prepared in a rushed fashion. We had time to enjoy our drinks, chips, and salsa. The food came out in the right amount of time and it was nice and hot...very tasty! Great experience! Ask for Jazmina...she is the Best! read more

Service was AWFUL. My drink was empty and didn't get refills, they took 15 minutes to take our order (it wasn't busy at all), and they never checked up on us I had to go up to the front to get our check and then our server had the audacity to underline the suggested tip at the bottom, so I tipped 2$ less than the suggested because service was not good and then she said the tip? And when I explained why I did not give the full tip she blamed me saying "this is my salary I live off of this." If you're living off your tips then you should be giving good service to earn a tip not just expecting it. Servers name was bibi. read more

The food was okay! But the service was absolutely HORRIBLE, even from MOD. Asked for more chips and salsa and it arrived after we were done eating so decided to ask for Togo items,had to ask for containers individually assuming a good server should know exactly what it takes to box up chips,salsa and entree! Never got checked on after entrees were served or refills! Need some customer service skills and adequate/good servers!! read more

Went here a week ago and debated actually leaving a review, however after 3 of the 5 of us got really sick and threw up for days (the other two didn't eat) I feel it necessary to say something! The service is horrible, unless you're at the bar and even then it's iffy! The food has no flavor! Trust me, it's definitely not worth it! Staff will walk by and not even acknowledge you for long periods of time even when they are just standing around talking while it's slow! I have frequented this location several times and tried to give it a fair chance, but I always leave disappointed. The food is okay and the service is pretty good, but the guy that manages ( or is always at the register) is a rude individual who acts as though he's doing you a favor by letting you eat there. I will take my money elsewhere read more

Citronelle al los ranches is like being back in tx ! this food is so salsa and beans are the initial factor and they did not disappoint! Then my favorite food chile rellano was an actual poblano pepper not a jalopeno ! Dynamite so good read more

I enjoyed their staff very friendly the bathrooms are clean, their food isn't very thrilling it's just like any other Mexican restaurant. But a great environment for drinks and food with family and friends! They also do not take reservations from what I have been told even with larger parties. read more

The beer is extremely cold and the service has been great. The food is absolutely geared toward the upper middle class schmucks that live in Hammock Bay. No soul....or spice. Possibly the most American Mexican food I've ever had. The ambiance is nice. Colorful but not completely overdone. I will absolutely be back for some drinks and chips but skip on the food. read more

Cute place, terrible service. Ice cold chips. We almost walked out after sitting at the table almost 20 minutes with nothing. And they werent busy. Had 4 different servers pass by over and over. Finally decided to try this Mexican restaurant being Mexican myself, I'm fairly picky. This is by far the worst abomination for Mexican food. Really you can do much better by going to Taco Bell. No quality of ingredients or passion in the food. Everything was bland, disgusting and just plain awful. Come on Los Rancheros show some pride and passion for Mexican food!! The service was okay. There were times we didn't see server for long periods of time and they weren't that busy at 4:30. The fajitas for 2 came out it was like a mound of mushy snotty onion with a few bell pepper slices & chopped/diced meat. Wasn't very good but I was hungry. I have been five times now. Four times out of those five, the service was TERRIBLE. Sit there forever waiting for someone to come to the table. When they do and you ask for anything more than the initial basket of chips and a very small serving of salsa, it doesnt happen. Drink refills? Forget it. Once the food is served, you will not be revisited by any wait staff. Food is very good (combo fajitas first time and other things on other visits) but good food is not worth having to get up from the table and look for someone to refill the drinks and salsa. Even Waffle House has better service. read more

Bar tender was rude and very opinionated! Spent $40 on watered down margaritas that they apparently didn't put any tequila in them! Very disappointing and trust me that I don't normally write reviews, but I will not be back after this horrible experience! read more
