The concha itself was soft and fresh, not overly sweet, which I loved. Topped with fruity pebbles and paired with vanilla ice cream, it was like a childhood throwback in dessert form, but elevated. It wasn't too rich or heavy just the right amount of sweetness. If you're into creative desserts that still taste amazing (and not just for the 'gram), definitely try this one. Algo Dulce nailed it!

When you are in an 18 wheeler, eating hot dogs whole weeks at a time, you can really appreciate fresh food. I opted for their al pastor (spicy pork) taco and my partners got a mix of al pastor and desebrada con papa (shredded beef with potato). The soft taco actually had a crust from the hot flat top, adding a very addicting texture. My spicy pork was very tender and had the perfect seasonings. I do miss actual slices of grilled pork, instead of this shredded one. Either way, the flavors was out of bound. The shredded beef with potatoes was equally good in flavor and much more filling. The food was fresh so you do have to wait for a bit. Pricing was very affordable, ranging from $1.25 to $5, and they were delicious! Every time we stop by this fuel station, I will make sure to come back. It is very out of the way, so if you happen to already be here, do not miss a chance to enjoy their food. Also, owner Carlos is polite and excellent with customer service.

I came near closing, but service was still awesome. The lady behind the counter was super patient with me as I scanned the menu and tried to figure out what I wanted to order. I was dinner so I opted for a Birria burrito, then added on a Birria taco and a carne asada taco. There were two people ahead of me so my food was a little slow to come but I tell ya: it was worth the wait. My picture doesn't really do this justice. The burrito is fucking huge. One of the biggest I've ever had. I wish I knew how big it was ahead of time, cause I would not have ordered the tacos. Or maybe I would have cause the tacos were chonky and so damned good too. Going back to the birria burrito.. wow. It was packed full of birria with some rice and beans. The ratio is AMAZING for us meat lovers. I could only stomach half the burrito, plus the two tacos. Was able to save the other half for lunch tomorrow. Still super duper tasty. The birria was very very juicy and tender flavorful. Lord, mouth is watering just thinking about it. The other amazing part? The PRICE. That giant birria burrito was $11.99. I defy you to find a place with a better price to portion ratio than this. Especially in this economy. I'm definitely coming back, cause apparently the other burritos are even BIGGER according to the staff. Price, taste, quantity. Can't be beat. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you skip this spot. Or maybe skip it, so they don't get overhyped and jack up their prices. (yeah, I'm a little selfish XD)
