The samosa chaat was a perfect balance of crispy, tangy, and spicy, and the kids absolutely loved the mango lassis - refreshing, and not overly sweet. The two bibis preparing the food were especially kind, loving, and welcoming. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were enjoying a home-cooked meal with family. If you're looking for excellent vegetarian Indian food, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, generous portions, and we'll definitely be coming back!

The paranthas are jumbo in size, one can easily pass for two regular paranthas. They were served with a generous amount of butter, pickle and Boondi Raita. We also ordered palak paneer and kadhai paneer which were both good but kadhai paneer had gravy like shahi paneer which was unexpected but still good. The chai was the best part. We hadn't had chai in the last one week and this tea refreshed our souls. Didn't take any food pictures because we were very hungry. They also have small seating in a real school bus. What an experience! Pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend.

The employee/owner was very friendly and engaged me in conversation while processing my payment. Because of the ongoing conversation, I didn't immediately review my receipt. Later, when I checked the receipt, I discovered that I had been charged for an item that I did not order. The charge was significantly higher than what I expected to pay based on my actual purchase. What bothered me most was not the dollar amount itself, but the fact that the receipt did not match what I requested. Customers should never have to worry about being charged for items they didn't order, and I would strongly encourage anyone visiting to carefully review their receipt before leaving. I can't speak for everyone else's experience, but based on mine, I left feeling disappointed and hesitant to return. Transparency and accuracy are basic expectations when paying for a meal, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

I know baked potato is basic, but there's nothing basic about their baked potato. That thing is HUGE!!! My husband, son and I made a big mistake by getting our own and we could not put it down. I think it took me 4 days to finish mine haha. They do not skimp! You think it's gonna be dry when you get to the bottom, but it's buttery and they hook it up. Service was fast. It took them about 10-15 min to make all 3 of our baked potatoes and they even had a line when we went. Definitely recommend that you check them out. Make sure you have an appetite or make sure you share with a person or 2. Not sure how long they've been around or where else their truck posts at, but I would love to come back. If you're able to see inside their truck you can see they have a little assembly line going on to stay organized. I saw 3 people working the truck, but I could be wrong. Bakersfield needs more food trucks, so I'm wishing and hoping for this trucks success!
