Enjoyed a tasty chicken fajita salad. Chips and salsa were tasty as well. I liked that it was not too crowded or loud. Service and price was good. Love the restaurant's name and horse theme.

A mediocre over salted asada taco

Listen, I am not one to leave a bad review but jeez, this place. I work nearby and it's one of the only restaurants in the area (unfortunately) and I've been here about 15 times. Enough time to make my mind up about this place. 1. The staff is always rude, with the exception of a few of the waitresses, but they act like they are doing you a service of getting food YOU pay for. 2. Eight tacos and 3 salsas?! Like seriously how cheap can you be. 3. They are overpriced and the food is NOT that good. Their cheese burger is probably the only delicious thing on that menu. Don't go here. You're better off going to Mama Margie's, and even that's a stretch. 4And you better make sure everything you asked for is is in the bag, even the ketchup you specifically requested.

Al Pastor plate, chips and salsa, Sweet tea

A colleague recommended this place today and I'm so happy she did! Sweet tea was fresh and chips and salsa are on point! They gave me plenty of time to order and didn't mind that I only speak English. The Al Pastor plate was only $6.99 and the food is just like my Amas. Beans are flavorful and rice is moist and fresh. Al Pastor was full of flavor and juicy. They use lots of fresh cilantro which I love and the veggies are crisp and clean. Tortillas are hand made. Best lunch from a mom n pop place in a long time!!!

Great food at reasonable prices. Very authentic and fresh. In house made tortillas and great service.

We wanted to try something new in Mexican food. Arrived around 2 pm - had to wait about 3 minutes…read more Anthony was a perfect server, friendly and attentive. We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! Table for 4, only brings 2 cups of water, have to request for more water, let's not forget that the food is salty so the water is more than needed here. Just a bad experience, bad food, bad service.

I didn't need extra fat from avocado after the corn cakes since it doesn't add much flavor to the dish. The corn cakes are good and I will order again but not as good as some other cornbread. It came with 2 cakes. One was undercooked and one has a crispy crust. The undercooked one was my favorite. It is more moist with soft in the middle. Tuna Al Pastor has a kick but nothing special. Tres Leches was beautiful. 4/5. I like the fresh fruits to cut down the sweetness. The cake was a bit in the dense side. The icing on top was thick. I wish it was a fluffy whip cream to cut down from all the sweetness. Overall it's still a better tres leches than other places in the area.

It was probably our most favorite place that we ate while in San Antonio. The ambiance was great, beautifully decorated restaurant with great service. The cocktails were delicious so we had a few. The food was flavorful and unique. We had a wonderful dinner with my family at Carriqui.
