Rated on another site and a few others as being a four star resort. There certainly are some four star worthy points, but I give it three and a half stars. The pool and the massages offered by the pool are just lovely. The view is really breathtaking, and the drinks are decently priced. They do have a breakfast buffet which is decent, offering some light bites (toast, jam, cereal, yogurt, granola, cheeses and meats (not the best quality, but it's okay). Our 6am breakfast attendant was awesome sauce all the way. No way in Ibiza are you getting up in time for breakfast that ends at 10 or 11, when you stroll in at 6 or 7am.... but you can get something in your stomach on your way back to your room at least.
The room. Closet is decent size, but the hangers are a bit mangled. No dresser, just some little nightstand drawers that are a bit old. Two twin beds which were a little stiff, pillows are a little better, and they have a thin fuzzy blanket or a fluffy type of duvet. The TV was a little on and off, not many stations at all. The room itself is pretty basic. The floor was clean upon our arrival, but staying there for a week, I had to wear my flip flops out of the shower. They would make the beds up and empty the garbage, but not a good thorough clean. There is a vanity with a big chair to do your makeup, but the mirror is on the other side of the room. Our view of the street was like, eh.... for $2500 USD for 6 days? Meh. Very loud late at night (the nights we came in at 12 or 1). Only real plus was the A/C. Thank goodness. The shower amenities were nothing special, and the towels had a weird fishy smell to them, even the new ones. Worlds smallest trash can in the bathroom. One plug on either side of our beds, but nothing in the bathroom. The windows did not have any locks on them at all, and could be easily opened, the shades were very basic, but at least there was a darkening shade underneath. Mini bar was pretty bare, and only a smidgen of room for us to store our store bought water and fruit.
The front staff. They could use a pick me up. Sometimes nice, sometimes just rude. I'm not sure who would be in a good mood, and who would just suck. From asking if a taxi could be ordered, to exchanging my pounds or USD to Euros, or simply trying to book a spa service. One hotel clerk blatantly told me, NOPE sorry, all booked for the day. Not even calling around to see if someone else outside the resort would accomodate. Thankfully my friend speaks fluent Spanish, and I'd have her come with me if we needed something. It was like their entire tune changed. I wouldn't come back here without an interpreter. This is classified as an adults only resort, making this a destination sans kids, but quite a few older (like my grandparents age lol). read more
