The next morning, we asked for another room and since my boyfriend is a gold member, they were able to provide us with an upgraded room facing the inner walkway. Free breakfast was also included with his benefits, so we were able to choose from a nice selection of items on the breakfast menu. The only thing that we did not like about the hotel was the strong perfume smell in the hallways. It was very overbearing

It is located near the Marina below Dalt Villa. We decided to try it out since they have been on the Michelin guide book since 2008 (according to the stickers on their door... but who knows it may be fake lol) and our cab driver seemed to know what he was talking about. Since we haven't tried a Paella in Spain yet, we decided to get the Paella. The service was slow along with the rest of the island so at this point it wasn't a surprise to us. Our Paella came out in about 30 minutes which was a pretty decent time for fresh Paella. It was definitely worth the wait. The Paella was DELICIOUS :) It was a bit pricey but I didn't really mind because I was in vacation mode.

A big plus for me is that I arrived in Evissa around 7am and they were able to get me checked into my room by 11am and after a day of travel that was much appreciated. The balcony had an amazing view and that was defenitly the best part of the stay for us. My only complaint is the weird / funky smell the room had. I pin pointed the smell was coming from the AC unit and anytime you went to use the AC it just made you room smell bad all over again. We went to the extent of buying candles and air sprays and that defenitly helped tremendously. The free breakfast was good and had a great variety. They also had a bar where they offered small bites and espresso. The pool was such a vibe and the view from there was breathtaking. This is absolutely a 5 star hotel from the moment you enter the lobby…read more The hotel entrance is quite grand, smells great (is that a weird thing to point out?), and staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have a concierge desk where they help you plan out your entertainment, food, drink and whatever else you want to do on the island. The hotel has an open spa (gym, spa services, hair, nails, etc), two swimming pools (one adult only), and plenty of lawn chairs for sunbathing in the beautiful Ibiza sun. All the rooms are facing away from Pacha so you don't hear any of that club noise. But bonus is, if you want to hear what's happening at Pacha, it's literally across the street. All the rooms have beautiful sizeable balconies overlooking the pool. We were able to get one that overlooked the pool and had a great angle of Ibiza Cathedral and the rest of that part of town. We had a junior suite which had a queen sized bed, in room jacuzzi bath and separate toilet/shower set up. There is a small entry area that can be closed off to make sure you have a very quiet night/privacy. For those who like to sleep in, they come with blackout curtains. I didn't check out the casino, but looked like it was busy and popular. Overall, great spot to just relax and hang out by the pool OR have fun and party across the street at Pacha and sleep in all day. :)

The hotel is walking distance to plenty of restaurants. I did not try the food at the hotel. I booked on a third party website so got a nice discount. I would stay here again.

The pool area is fantastic and the drinks were delicious. We had tried a couple different drinks by the pool over the course of our 4 day stay and every single one was yummy! I'm only in Ibiza for two nights for work and part of the allure of coming out was to spend a lazy afternon drinking cocktails by the pool. But what pool? To make up for the lack of on-site swimming, the hotel offer a free shuttle bus down to a local beach club. It's nice of them, but sometimes a girl just needs the use of a sun lounger, the promise of cool, clear water and NO SAND! Amenities in the hotel are pretty good aside from the lack of a pool and no gym, with free fast wifi, TVs in each room and really nice bathrooms, plus my room had a lovely balcony looking out over the marina. The hotel breakfast was very pleasant to eat out there in the sunshine, but if I ever return to the Balearics a hotel with a swimming pool is essential for my happiness.
