Service a bit slow closer to closing time. Spices a bit tame. Quaint location and good location for Beaver Dam area

The first time I went, I got pupusas, which were amazing. Their pupusa expert wasn't in on my last visit, but it gave me a chance to explore other options. The tacos were awesome & totally where it's at! Tried the al pastor, asada, and lengua. All great! They give you the option of cooked or fresh onions & they're all topped w/ cilantro & avocado too. The corn tortillas are slightly grilled for a nice char. Also gave the sopes a try & those were freshly fried & topped high with meat and toppings. They start you off with chips & each person gets their own salsa dish (yes!). You can ask for hot salsa (green) too. The boys that take your order are very friendly & attentive. Def recommend giving it a try!

I don't have to go to Henderson or Evansville, or Madisonville when I want a good mexicana dish. I loved my super burrito , with rice and beans on the side and the cheese over my burrito was great. And the dip and chips they brought out first I could made a meal on. Very good place and happy to have them right here where I live. Donnabee

The food was amazing and quick. We sat and talked for a while and they were very attentive and understood that we needed some time. I had a Quesadilla Porky. It was a fried tortilla stuffed with this beautiful pork and cheese. The pork was fantastic and the fresh toppings made for an incredible meal. My dad got the chicken fingers and was served 4 huge chicken tenders lightly battered and perfectly cooked. They were crispy and flavorful. It was a wonderful meal and an even better experience.

I ordered Chicken and Cheese and received a plate of very cold "chicken" with pretty much no cheese. I had to order a separate bowl of cheese dip to put on my chicken and it only took what felt like 30 mins for a bowl of cheese dip to come out. Service was terrible, our server Alex never checked on us nor did any of the others. This place was not busy at all. Every time I needed something I had to get their attention because they did not check in once. Also I order a soda that was so flat I had to ask for a water. For my meal I ordered a plate of terrible chicken with barely any cheese on it, 1 cheese dip, and a water...... that cost me $25 before tip. Bathrooms were so sketchy too. This place is the definition of mid. Never coming back, terrible service, cold food, overpriced.

The waitstaff were pleasant however, there was a language barrier. The menu is huge. There is a great vegetarian options Unlike many Mexican restaurants this place has a plethora of vegetable offerings along with your traditional meats. The stand outs were the tamale and the chile Relleno. I ordered the sampler plate. It's enough for two. The ground beef in the dishes was bland. The guacamole was plentiful but extremely salty mixed together OK. The chips and salsa that they begin with were delicious and fresh. The chicken was seasoned well I look forward to trying the Birra the next time I come. There's plenty of parking.

The food that this place serves is fantastic. The quesabirria tacos are a favorite of mine. They make some awesome tamales as well with the perfect meat to masa ratio. Wife really enjoys their burritos. Price is reasonable, and the service is very friendly and quick. We typically only get our food to go (as we live just up the street) so I cannot speak to the ambiance while dinning, but it certainly looks clean and nice. I definitely recommend trying La Cabana for delicious Mexican food!
