Los Jaibos is a great little restaurant but with a misleading name and decor.
Apparently it started as a seafood restaurant, so the walls are painted blue with marine life depicted.
However somewhere along the way they decided that was not working, so they changed the menu.
They now offer a delicious traditional Mexican buffet: You will find a variety of guisos of chicken, beef and pork. Chicken in cream sauce, mole or chile sauce; a few kinds beef (the carne guisada was my favorite); pork in green sauce or adobada; cueritos en salsa; chile rellenos; veggies, rice, beans, noodles, a simple salad bar, various fresh fruits and dessert. Basically, most everything but seafood.
They have bottled soda pop drinks, bottled water, or aguas frescas.
Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Service was good.
There is limited parking in the front. Inside, the restaurant is air-conditioned and comfortable.
It was not fancy, nor do I consider it exceptional, but it was MUCH better than Golden Corral in my opinion.
I enjoyed it and believe you will too. read more
