They bring out a paper-menu and a pencil, you simply fill in how many orders you want, Trompo tacos are singles, though. Been eating here since I can remember, not much has changed inside. And the food is just stellar every time. Trompo is super tender and full of flavor, authentic. Red salsa and limes are a must. I also order the "Bistec con Queso" a sort of Philly-cheese taco without the peppers. It is phenomenal! Seasoning on point, cheese is rich and creamy. And the tortilla is the star of the show, honestly. You can put any meat on those tortillas and you'll have a beautiful taco. Can't wait to stop by again on my next vacation, maybe in the summer, God willing.

Decided to do two Tacos El Plebe, Taco el Rojo, El de Asada, and Taco El Compa. If I had to choose, the Taco El Plebe had the edge but none of these disappointed. The sauces were on point and for the first time in a while, I felt that great kick but not over bearing. The grilled onions was just the cherry on top of tacos. Café Rey offers an extensive menu with both American and Mexican cuisine.
