Los Huesos is an incredible spot. The food is so good and the service is amazing. Definitely would recommend checking this spot out. Luis who was our server was so nice.

Read some reviews and decided to try this restaurant out while in town. What a gem! To start, the atmosphere is great, the owner and staff are very friendly and the music was entertaining, but not overwhelming. To start a lime Margarita on the rocks and a mango margarita, both made to perfection with good ingredients. We had home made guacamole with the chips, then shared a tortilla soup, one of the best we ever had. Out came our entree, a pork Burrito we decided to share. Thank goodness, it was huge! Between the two of us we could only eat half. On top of all that the price was reasonable, looking forward to coming back next time in town.

This all I could eat....so much food and tasty as heck! Fresh tortilla chips too! My spouse loved her food too and she is as picky as it gets....highly recommend.

I had such high hopes coming here after reading all the other reviews. I can only assume that their normal chefs were away, or being held hostage in the back. Started off with their "hand-cut salsa" and chips. First things first. The salsa is not hand cut. At best, it's cut once or twice, and then it is tossed into a food processor where it is made into a gritty tomato sauce. The flavors weren't horrible, but the texture was awful. Followed it up with the Enchiladas Divorciadas. The chicken (green) was stringy and dry. The sauce itself was tasty and saved it a little, but tough to get over the stringiness. The beef (red) was also super overcooked and stringy. Am still picking the beef out of my teeth hours later. The spanish rice was over salted. They said right on their menu, made fresh daily. Why wouldn't it be? Is your other food not? There was a little lettuce and tomato on my plate as well. Was it to be had with the enchiladas? Was it an attempt at a salad? The only decent part of the dish were the refried beans. I wanted to have the deep fried ice creme and another beer for dessert, but the waitress showed up with the bill and the machine. Guess I don't get to try it after all. I understand why there was only two other tables full.

Awesome! Friendly service starting off with complimentary chips and salsa. Margaritas were great and our enchiladas hit the spot in size and taste. The whole experience brought up fond memories of our visits to Mexico, which for me was the best part and proof that it was authentic.

Really huge portions! Very cute little Mexican joint. We ordered the Enchiladas Verde and the Taquitos, both with beef. The Enchiladas Verde were delicious and the sauce was great. I could only eat one of the two enchiladas they were so huge. Every dish you order comes with a massive side of rice and beans which were tasty as well. I personally was not as big of a fan of the Taquitos (the hubby ordered it) since I really like sauce and Taquitos are basically just crispy tortillas stuffed with meat but he enjoyed it so I'll take his word for it. We also ordered a small side of the guacamole which, in my opinion was a bit underwhelming. I tend to like my guac a bit on the mushy, mashed up side but this guac was more chunky that I would normally like. Also, for $3.95, it was quite a small portion. The reason for the one docked star is because a) I felt that they were quite understaffed - hubby ordered a beer and it didn't come for quite some time and b) though the food was good, the more I ate the more everything seemed to be a bit too salty. It wasn't a "hit you in the face" salty but it just seemed to build up and by the end of the meal, though I wanted to have more of the rice and beans, I just couldn't because all I could taste was salt. Overall, good restaurant. Would definitely come back if we were ever back in Vernon.

We came around 12:30 on a Monday. There was one table in and no one was really there. I was slightly hesitant and worried it was going to take long as there was only one person working but another one showed up. We ordered margaritas (lime and so delicious - they flavour the rim with a spicy/salty combo that went so well with the tart of the lime). My friend got the burrito and I got tostados (they don't do much vegan options but they are very accommodating). We also ordered chips and salsa (not a typical salsa but very good) and guacamole (which unfortunately came with cheese so none for me). The chip were fresh and not too salty or oily. The burrito was huge and my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. The tostados were piled high with fresh veg and pickled onions and topped with their fresh hot sauce! The food was excellent! Hands done a repeat place to visit. The staff were very sweet and friendly. Prices are good so there is no reason not to go!

Glorious whipped sour cream across the top with black beans, guac, Pico, 2 different types of cheese and cilantro, this dish is the perfect plate of nachos. Every dish we've had here was a winner. My personal fav are the asada tostadas, with a healthy layer of smashed black beans on a perfectly crispy tortilla, the perfect amount of toppings and a sprinkle of feta to top it off. Solely run by the owners, they are friendly and truly take pride in their food.

They're located next door to a Little Caesars Pizza. We dropped in on a Friday (around noon) and it was bumping. The inside is oddly spaced out with only 5 tables. There's an outdoor patio but it was raining so no one was sitting outside. You walk up to the counter to order first and pay. They call out your ticket number when your order is ready. The menu consists of 16 items (tacos, quesadillas, burritos, enchilada, soups, tamales and pupusas). Can't believe their enchilada platter was only $9.25 two years ago. - Enchilada platter ($15.00) - we opted for the beef and green sauce (tomatillo). Nice that they offer the option to get both sauces (red and green). Plenty of sauce given and the tomatillo came through. The ground beef was nicely seasoned. - 3x Classic tacos ($4.00 each) - we tried one asada, pastor and carnita. The pastor was easily our favourite; tender and flavourful even without any pineapple included. Carnita was also tender. The asada was okay but the most surprising thing was their homemade salsa. Really elevated the tacos to another level. Good Mexican food is hard to find but we enjoyed our meal at LF. Will have to try the pupusas and tamales next time. 3.5 stars.
