    Nachos tacos and sopes.

The food tasted good and was well presented but the prices are way out of line. The 4 churros is actually 2 chirps cut in half for 8$. The rest of the food the portions are actually quite small everything is about half the portion it should be relative to the prices being charged. Was really looking forward to enjoying this place but what you see in the photo is 60$ with the churros and realistically that's more like 30$. Thé service was very fast though.

I'm so stoked to be able to eat here. Music, Jerritos, tacos...what's there not to love. We ordered our classic tacos (asada, carnitas, pastor), tacos (fish and vegetarian, chicken), and carne asada burrito at 1:08pm and it is ready at 1:35pm. The seating inside is minimal: about 3 tables that sits 4, and a couple of tables that sit 3. Tacos: Love the fish, chicken wasn't that good, but the bean was filling with lots of beans and guac. Classic tacos: a tad overcooked on the meat but other than that it is good. Burritos: sadly, not good at all, the little tiny bits of meat was stuffed inside with too much rice. There's no sauce, nor flavours. Overall, good food, service is a bit slow.

This is the place to go for tacos. The food is unreal and the service was fairly quick. The pastor tacos and the quesadilla was so good, we will definitely be coming back again.

It's cinque de mayo so had to get my taco fix here tonight! Ordered for take out and i called a couple of times but no answer! However they called me back so it was all good. Ordered beef enchilada, chicken and beef asada tacos and a pupusa. my kiddo came with me to pick up and oh man, the place was busy and the delicious smell was making us drool. My kiddo wanted to eat it right away but we waited. So got the food home and since it sat a bit the chicken taco shell fell apart and the kiddo just used a fork. The hubby really enjoyed his enchiladas and it was pretty yummy with the refried beans and yellow rice! My kiddo wasn't too crazy about the asada tacos but hubs & I really liked it as it's got more chew than the chicken and didn't fall apart. The pupusa held up the best and i sprinkled extra fresh cilantro on it and dollop of sour cream and so good! Hubs didn't care for it but the kiddo liked it. Very filling and so well priced for the amount of food! I wanted to get tamales too but next time!

Down home really simple and tasty Mexican. I would say this place is super authentic. I had the pork tacos on a gluten free corn taco. The pineapple salsa is sub web on top and add a little Valentina hot sauce for a kick. I also tried the chicken tamale which was very authentic as well cooked in a corn husk. My friend had the enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and it was great too. I would say this place is a nice place for a quick flavourful lunch. Not fancy by any means, just great food.

Well, I'm definitely happy I've discovered a reliable authentic Mexican restaurant. So happy that I went two days in a row. Ingredients are fresh, lack msg, mildly flavoured (proper) and presentable. Greeted by friendly helpful staff. It's cafe style so you pay first, grab a seat then go back up to the counter for the food when ready. Bottle of hot sauce on every table. Very casual, love it!

Best Mexican / El Salvadoran food in Kelowna. Loved this place years ago, love it now. They don't always have pupusas, but when they do, it's totally worth getting!

There is a salsa bar-- the hot salsas are actually spicy. Some of the salsas were hit or miss, probably about 1/4 were good, 1/4 were ok and then the rest were rather bland or meh. The fire roasted salsa that came with the chips was actually the best one. We had two mains to share. The chile relleno was super interesting because it was actually stuffed with mean and rice, which is not traditional. The mole was rich and sweet, as expected. Portions are quite large and these dishes are heavy/rich so it's quite filling. I guess their most popular items are the tacos, but that seemed rather lame and is likely because a lot of people are not familiar with these other dishes. The cocktail list could use some revamping. There were a lot of cheap spirits bring used and it gave all inclusive resort cocktails vibe. They need a real mixologist to come in and give them some recipes so that they have authentic margaritas and other drinks without the sugary sweet frat party liquor. They just need to focus on better quality spirits and a more Mexico focused liquor list. Staff was super nice and friendly. I think they brought the chips and salsa as we had been waiting awhile for our food. Overall, I would recommend this place as it was priced fairly and the food was quite good. Is this authentic? Not really from the "modern" aspect, but they do a good job of melding the traditional with the new.

Food and service were amazing. Portion size was perfect. A beautiful way to end a day in Kelowna.read more

I can't believe how long I can be ignored by the staff and the manager. Apparently the record so far is 20 minutes. If it wasn't for the staff prioritizing the pick up orders, maybe they would have gotten to me sooner, but that is not a great excuse. And after hovering on the other side of the counter for over 10 minutes in front of me, the manager finally looks at me and asks if I have been helped. All this time she didn't check? And then there are the people picking up orders pushing into the line to get their orders first. Clearly showing up in person is not a good idea. Also my wife and I got different sized burritos. we couldn't tell the difference between the small and which one was the regular? The food line was constantly being stocked, and taking so much extra time. And so much of the food looks like it had been there all day, eww. I can't believe they are still in business. It's such a long wait no matter when I go in. I think I'm good now...I have learned that I'd rather spend my money at places that value my time and business.

We came around 12:30 on a Monday. There was one table in and no one was really there. I was slightly hesitant and worried it was going to take long as there was only one person working but another one showed up. We ordered margaritas (lime and so delicious - they flavour the rim with a spicy/salty combo that went so well with the tart of the lime). My friend got the burrito and I got tostados (they don't do much vegan options but they are very accommodating). We also ordered chips and salsa (not a typical salsa but very good) and guacamole (which unfortunately came with cheese so none for me). The chip were fresh and not too salty or oily. The burrito was huge and my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. The tostados were piled high with fresh veg and pickled onions and topped with their fresh hot sauce! The food was excellent!
