TLDR: Super tasty; when they say it's spicy, IT IS SPICY; bang for the buck; get the redbean…read morewaffle!!! This one was beside the HMart in Yonge and Churchill. I was just doing my daily walk goal and good thing i brought my wallet. In the first picture, you'll see the menu. It's really cheap and this is something i would spend for a snack. It was hard for me to find a spot where I can eat all the stuff I got. well, it's a street food anyway. I bought like 7 items in total but they didnt give me a bigger brown bag :( im not sure if they have but it would come handy for people who would like to buy more Flavour: Im not good with spice but for some reason, I was able to tolerate the spice on this one. It doesnt really burn and I could still taste the flavour along with the spice. I love the redbean waffle! It comes in 3 :) it was too hot so make sure you wait for a bit! It's so soft and still good to eat after a few hours

You get what you pay for: cheap Korean street food that's premade from frozen (except the taiyaki…read morethat's made on the spot). The soups tastes like miso soup that you would buy from the store, very salty. All the seafood are very fishy tasting. Everything is drenched in either a spicy sauce or teriyaki sauce. The taiyaki was crispy on the outside and filled with red bean paste which would taste better if it were a tad bit sweeter. I did enjoy the Bulgogi, Kim-Mari and the spicy ketchup based sauce. There was no line up when we went, staff is friendly but there is a definite language barrier; I had to repeat my orders a number of times. My food was barely warm, maybe it's better during the rush hours. The soups, however, were piping hot! I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. If I was in the area, had only a few coins in my pocket (items range from $1.25-$5), and was hangry, I would stop by again.

This food stall focuses on burgers. Their patties tastes really good! They are never frozen…read more Everything is homemade onsite. The entire menu is halal. I ordered the following: 1. Hawaiian Burger ($12.99). 2. The Classic Happy Smash Burger ($8.99). I love a pineapple ring in the Hawaiian Burger. They also have Chipotle sauce on the top, which I also love. The Classic is the very first burger they ever made. Smash burgers always taste good, and this didn't disappoint. They have been appearing in various popups during summer 2024. It is the only smash burger on their menu. This is the owners' first food business. It opened on 2024-10-19. It is inside The Food Alley. The customer service was good. There is no free WiFi. The alley is not truly wheelchair accessible because it consists of large gravel. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-216

The owner is extremely nice and friendly and offers delicious and fresh food and high quality food in a family-friendly atmosphere. We tried "Loaded Burger", "Turkish Style Steak Sandwich" and "Sweet Potato Fries". The Loaded Burger was insanely delicious and good looking. I have never had such a great burger before. The steak sandwich was both juicy and tender. I strongly recommend trying both.

Location This event is now hosted on Enterprise, in the same…read moreplaza as Good Catch, Goodlife and the VIP cinemas. Parking (including underground) is quite limited there - so best to come carpooling or explore nearby parking. One good thing is that the organizer does have a designated parking area setup for people coming in. Setup There are multiple vendors - from food, drinks to small gifts, organizations and even non-profits to promote anything! There are also festivities and live performances based on a schedule - so make sure to grab a seat if you want to watch any of them. I usually come for the food - to see what's new and exciting and what is not out there in restaurants. Inflation over the years have risen a lot of prices - so it could range anywhere from $10 for a drink to $15-$20 for food. Quantity wise - depending on where you look - can vary. You may have to spend at least 1-2 dishes to feel full. It's a staple yearly event that happens in Markham - definitely do check it out - and you may little hidden surprises !

It's been almost a decade since I've frequented NIU. Is there a more iconic, summer asian food…read morefestival tbh? I can't think of one. NIU's always been synonymous with funky smell, gimmicky lights, a packed crowd and overpriced food. Yet the reason, I suppose ppl go is the camaraderie with friends and for a night out w/ significant others? The annual event always happens in the markham VIP theater parking lot and you'll probably need to park near the AVIVA building. Parking fills up quick so you might need to end up parking far and walking over. As soon you get near you'll notice the pungent smell of stinky tofu wafting through the entire lot and permeating your nostrils. My first year back this year w/ my gf and everything started at $10+. I think I must've spent close to $150 by the end of the night. Gf was happy. My wallet? Not so much LOOLL. They had dance, band and singer performances on a main stage throughout the night (basically like an outdoor concert). If you get lost from your group of friends good luck trying to find them cuz chances are you're not gonna have good cell signal either. You'll see a lot of gimmicky food vendors at NIU so pick and choose wisely! Cool experience for a first time if you've never been. If you've already been, you can hard skip a couple years before revisiting. It's always the same thing so you won't ever feel the FOMO.

What can I say about L.A. FRANKS?…read more It's a quirky little spot on Water Street North. Their menu signs are playful and bright. They've got terrific staff. They serve burgers, fries, shakes, hot dogs, poutine, onion rings, chicken and ice cream. It's home of the Holey Burger and fresh cut French fries. And they carry all the fixings you want on your hot dogs. Since 1993 they've been at it running this joint for 30 years which has become a Cambridge fixture. You cannot miss the bright yellow awning and colourful signs as you pass by this bright landmark. They're open rain or shine. From 11:30-8 daily. They sell sodas along with an ice cold drinks like their Strawberry Lemonade. It's pink and fruity, sweet and sour. Honestly they have the best chili cheese fries. Topped with zig zags of ooey gooey orange coloured cheese sauce that makes it oh so good. Also ate a KRAUT DOG - which comes topped with sauerkraut and bacon. You know the saying that there's always room for ice cream? They serve Shaw's Ice Cream made from 100% Canadian Dairy Cream in Southwestern Ontario. Carl Shaw founded Shaw's Ice Cream in St. Thomas, Ontario in 1948 but Tillsonburg is home to their new ice cream production facility. L.A. FRANKS serves up ice cream in cones, and they also make thick 20 oz Malted Milk Shakes, plus good old fashioned Ice Cream Floats. There was an era when I only ever selected Bubble Gum flavour everything, including ice cream cones. Fun fact that the place was named after the owners kids named Lisa and Adam hence L.A. Franks.

It really is pretty remarkable just how many options exist in our fair city for global cuisine. We…read morewalked into La Pasiva around lunchtime on a weekday and were greeted warmly in a language that I absolutely do not speak. It was pretty great. After perusing the lengthy menu, we decided to share a couple of things: Our first item was a plate consisting of two hot dogs wrapped in ham and smothered in cheese atop a fairly substantial pile of french fries. This is certainly an interesting dish that would have easily been enough food for us. The cheese wasn't super hot by the time we got the plate, unfortunately, and the hot dog probably could've used some kind of sauce to cut through the saltiness of the wiener and the ham. Still, I can't say I didn't enjoy eating this and the kid in me would've loved it. We also got a dish that contained a salad with balsamic dressing, a pile of potato salad, and a thinly-cut piece of steak with a fried egg placed on top. This was definitely the clear-cut winner between the two plates of food, as the steak was tender and delicious and certainly improved by the aforementioned egg. The salad was also quite good, but the potato salad was much, much better. It was actually one of the better potato salads I've eaten in a while (and I don't know that I've ever eaten one where the potatoes were cut in small cubes). La Pasiva is definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for trying something quite different from the norm.
