These are the literally best quesadillas I have ever had. I had the chicken quesadilla and tortilla was very crispy and the chicken was seasoned well. And the price was amazing! ($10-$12). Highly recommend. read more

Great service, lady who helped me was very attentive and kind. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time though. Ordered some aguachiles which were so damn good just real spicy. Pretty open restaurant and they apparently throw events here but didn't get a chance to check it out but the aguachiles.and service was real good. 4 bucks for coffee and had to get bottled water was a little much but still really good. Mexican food in a dominantly Mexican town, made by Mexican people, this should have been tastier. Now granted I am not a great cook, but I also don't own a restaurant... Cabeza taco, pastor taco, Chile relleno, quesadilla- all mediocre, even the chips weren't good. The hostess lady was nice, that was the highlight. The best part is the salsa bar with guacamole and habanero sauce, and an open interior as well as a couple of sidewalk outdoor tables. After that, hmm. Chips were okay, my husband's crispy tacos used store bought shells, rice had veggies, and refried beans were runny and bland. My quesadilla was okay, not that cheesy and no replacement for the cheese enchilada I had ordered. The waitress, to her credit offered to bring me a cheese enchilada at no charge once we pointed out the mistake, but I didn't feel like waiting. La Terraza, our favorite spot with its courtyard tables, excellent enchiladas, and tacos has nothing to worry about. I like this place because supposedly they take the EBT card for food stamps but the last few times I tried it it declined my card and I had to pay full cash which sucked so I don't know if it works with EBT but if it does then I would say it's decent they always have a dance going on which is nice read more

I would not recommend this place. The food is not fresh nor tasty the carnitas taste like they have been reheated many times. And they over charge you. Friendly staff and owners. In a town full of Mexican restaurants it is hard to stand out... the regular salsa is a bit watery, but they make a killer guac! The selection of filings for the tacos was impressive, I had the al pastor and they were great. The carnitas were ok, too dry for my taste. read more

There's plenty of other Mexican places and other establishments all along Main St. We were told to sit anywhere and she'd be right out. So 15 minutes later had to get up and approach her to place and pay for the order which promptly took additional time. Foe street tacos this is the best place this side of Ensenada. Walk up to the guacamole and salsa bar and load up yer tacos. it's mostly Mexicans in thus place so you know it is the real deal. She told me to wait a little while she ran to a table. I was waiting .... 15 mins to be exact.... My friend placed order 15 mins ago and I hadn't ..So I just decided to sit down the waitress/cashier didn't take my order and my friends food would've probably came out in a few. I was wrong we waited 30 mins only to come home and find out that the waitress took the order wrong and gave her a nopal with rices, beans and homemade tortillas! A nopal? Really it wasn't even chopped up just grilled lol..... This is the worst.This is not what she paid for! I didn't even get to order! We ended up going to Carl's for some burgers instead.
