Yelp Review 2023 #128:…read more I love takoyaki - hot balls of octopus that are both savory and slightly sweet from the batter they use, the bonito flakes, and the teriyaki sauce. I tried Aki Takoyaki at Foodieland Night Market in Las Vegas. Their menu is very simple: takoyaki, and matcha mochiyaki...your choice how many (8 pieces, 16 pieces or 24 pieces. You stand at the order line. Place your order and pay using the iPad. Don't forget to grab your ticket with your number from the top of the iPad. Step aside until your number is called. Watch them make takoyaki. Grab your food from the pickup line. Enjoy your fresh hot balls. I figured I have a lot of food I want to try at Foodieland so, I had to limit myself to more unique and special stuff. So, I got the matcha mochiyaki. It didn't disappoint. Matcha mochi balls drizzled with condensed milk, and sprinkled with desiccated coconut. They're warm, soft and slightly chewy. It was $14 for 8 which is kind of pricey but everything at Foodieland is expensive!

Lacked a bit of seasoning in my opinion - Tripa 8/10 Nice and fried up! You can't go wrong with it if you enjoy fried food. - Buche 7/10 Something different & was quite yummy. Still i would rather get Asada Overall the place is a decent spot to grab a quick bite as it has lots of parking due to being next to a CVS parking lot. The owners are nice and they have a lot of different condiments which i truly enjoyed!

Food: - Churros are made fresh to order and hand-dipped in a generous coating of cinnamon sugar - Texture is perfect--crispy and golden on the outside, while soft, chewy, and slightly gooey on the inside -The cinnamon sugar ratio is spot-on, and because each churro is hand-coated, every bite is packed with flavor Sauces: Honestly, the churros don't need sauce, but if you are a sauce person... - Chocolate: Rich, smooth Ghirardelli chocolate - Lechera: Classic sweetened condensed milk - Blueberry: Surprisingly bold blueberry flavor - Coconut: Unexpected favorite that adds a unique tropical twist and pairs surprisingly well Service & Ambiance: - Located in the same parking lot as Brother's Cousins Tacos, making it the perfect spot to enjoy tacos and churros - Eric, the owner, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and passionate about his craft - The recipe originated in Madrid, Spain, and Eric added his own Mexican-inspired cinnamon sugar twist since traditional Spanish churros are not coated in cinnamon sugar

They have a lot of options for dipping sauces. I like the classics - chocolate and lechera (condensed milk)! They are extremely friendly and efficient. They're chatty if you are in the mood, and will happily share their story. The parking lot they're next to is a free-for-all, and there are usually a bunch of other food stands set up. There is no seating, you just grab and go. A lot of people eat standing by their cars. I've brought a lot of other people here, and so far everyone agrees they are the best in the city!

I ordered asada, lengua, and pastor tacos ($2/taco) which were all just perfect. The asada was super flavorful and had little crispy bits which was so delicious. The al pastor was also amazing and loved the little pineapple they include on the top. Lastly, lengua was super soft and not much flavor, but that's usually how it is. Everything was just perfect and easily survived a 10 minute drive home. Would definitely come here next time to try their burrito or muelitas. There is self serve salsas, onions & cilantro, and lime bar with little takeout containers. My favorite is the green creamy avocado salsa with a little bit of the habanero. The spiciness of the habanero salsa goes so well with the creaminess of the avocado sauce. Definitely grab a little bit more limes than you might first assume since they are a bit tiny. Nearby stands like BCT may have a crazy line, but these are definitely worth it for a quick dinner on a time crunch if you're craving some tacos :)

Service was great and very friendly. They seem to have a lot of regulars because almost everyone that was there were having good conversations with Nate and his wife. Very welcoming atmosphere.
