I'm so glad we did and I'm honestly craving their food right now. Every time I've seen them, they are parked in Sawtelle, on Sawtelle & Mississippi Ave right outside Daiso. The JFC Bowl. It seems this is the star and it's what I got at Gozen. JFC = Japanese Fried Chicken bowl, it is karage topped with a lot of goodness, including spicy mayo. It has a kick to it in all the right ways, full of flavor. The fluffy dog is just $5 and so original and cool. It's messy as heck, got some spicy kick to it and at least for me, totally filling. I'm going to have a hard time ever ordering anything besides my magical bowl moving forward. Legit good food and I'm wanting to eventually try their whole menu once I can move past my JFC.

The kaarage ($7) was well cooked - chicken was tender and moist with a nice crust and the spicy Mayo was the perfect complement Rice cake bonito ($2) was decent - nice to have a warm thick rice cake with just enough bonito seasoning. After you order you can spin a game to win prizes. Mostly likely you'll win some rice cracker and hi chew but you could win a fun mask or a cool Gozen tshirt!

We also got the chicken nachos, carne asada OG street taco, grilled shrimp baja taco, and bulgogi steak fusion taco. Everything was super flavorful, and I love that there's such a wide variety of tacos to choose from. I would 100% come back here. If you're in Westwood and craving Mexican food, you need to try this place!! Definitely a 10/10

Visiting from NYC! GREAT FOOD!…read more Food: traveled with a group of 4 and ordered. They serve an array of unique flavors and traditional ones as well. The best was definitely the crispy fish taco and also the largest serving. The slaw on top was the icing in top and the fish was not oily at all. Also appreciated the Mexican coke in glass bottles. Price: tacos are reasonable priced ranging from $3-5. Coke bottles are $3. Overall spent about $60 on the whole meal for 4 ppl. Service: the place is a tiny whole in the wall with basically two workers who are also cooking and taking orders. The service was lack luster. There are no plates or utensils which is annoying bc tacos are messy and most of ingredients fall out and you have to scrape with you hands. The tacos come out in trays so you kinda just eat the taco over the table. No napkins you get your own from the wall (we eventlly noticed). The food does not all come out together they come out as they are ready. We had to ask for our drinks after sitting for some time before food was ready. Also they mixed up out order but eventually brought out the taco instead of burrito they made and refunded the extra charge.

Worth the hype!!!! So many foodies have recommended this…read morespot and I already cannot wait to return. I hear the line gets insane here, but we got lucky on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm and were able to order right away. I ordered the carne asada burrito with cheese added and it was incredible. They handed me an open face tortilla covered in meat, had me add my own toppings at the condiments table and then they wrapped it up real tight for me. It was massive and lasted me two meals. My friend ordered the al pastor burrito and there were massive chunks of pineapples added on top. She was a fan! Next time I will try the tacos, as that is what this spot is known for. Despite this being a taco stand, there was a decent selection of provided chairs and tables. We took our food to go, but lots of patrons were eating outside. Sorry no photos, I ate my food too fast :)

I see Brother's Cousin Taco stands filled with people every week and I finally got a chance to try…read more I got there earlier around 5:30, so the line was a lot shorter than usual. It smelled amazing and everyone working there is super nice. The tacos are $2 & filled with meat. I ordered 4, but only finished 2 and the next day the corn tortillas held up so well after I reheated it. Which is solid because most street tacos tortillas will usually fall apart. They had option of hot sauces, including a mild cactus hot sauce. Also a variety of toppings you can stick In a little bag instead of using those plastic ramekins. This is a cash only establishment but they take Venmo. I will absolutely be back more often since I usually never have cash on me, which is why I didn't go over before. This is truly such a LA Vibe for amazing street food.
