Most are fast food, but there's a couple of other decent places. I got here around 4:45 pm, so the dinner rush hadn't taken off yet. The bartender, whom I recognized from previous visits as I entered, was doubling as host and sat me in a booth, and tripling as a waiter and helping the other waiters. He brought some chips and salsa and told me he remembered me from my previous visits too. I asked about the name change (formerly Los Amigos) and he told me he bought the place late last year in 2025. The salsa was obviously made in-house and had a slight spiciness to it, but I couldn't tell if the chips were made in-house or store-bought. They were fresh at least. I ordered the Pollo Feliz after the bartender assured me it was good. It was a thinly sliced, grilled chicken breast topped with grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms, with a thick slice of bacon and 4 grilled shrimps, all smothered in queso and served with rice and beans. The chicken was very good, the bacon was better, but the shrimp took it over the top. Of all the places I've tried in West Plains, this ranks at the top for me. I'm so full!!! The dining room is clean, colorful, and lively with locals, but not too loud or echo-y even with a group of about 16 dining in the second room, right behind my booth, and a couple of other families with children. Definitely give this place a try.

Our server made excellent recommendations and took good care of our table. The seasonal appetizer was smoked salmon dip with tortilla chips. We were given a generous amount of chips and dip. The dip was delicious. For entrees we went with a burger and fries and a salad with salmon. The burger was juicy and the toppings paired well together. The salad was equally tasty but could have been just a little bit bigger. The menu offers something for everyone. They offer an extensive beer and cocktail list with daily specials.
